So what if his ancestor was a Leb - he was reacting to the imputation that somehow that made a difference, when to him it does not - being Australian through and through.  He was angry because the imputation was that he was a hypocrite.

Good Lebs are as welcome as anyone else who wants to be a good Australian ..... and that is the end to it.
