Which is not to say there is not a need for changes or for people to be making waves about things.
It's that this kind of divisive, selfish, factually delusional nonsense is very small beer - and yet has a huge impact on drawing the attention of people away from reality - so much so that they vote back in a disastrous policy party!
This nonsense is nothing at all to the REAL issues confronting Australian Aborigines - many of them of their own creation. You wait until you actually KNOW a woman who's been bashed by one - and how such a 'man' considers it part of his culture and gives him bragging rights - as does going to prison. According to the culture that makes him a fearless warrior and a real man.... the more women he's beaten into their place the bigger man he is - someone to be feared!!
THAT is the kind of caveman mentality we are dealing with here, and it far more important than some song and dance about some mythical spirituality - how about opening the football game with an upcry to God or Allah or something - that go down well?
