Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is unfit for the role
Jan 30th, 2025 at 1:28pm

How anyone in the Trump administration or the Republican Party in general can possibly support the nomination of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to become the Secretary for Health and Human Services is simply beyond me. Forget whether he's aligned with one political party or another. That is entirely irrelevant. But to have Trump nominate someone who said that said...

Covid-19 was a “genetically engineered bio-weapon that targets Black and white people but spared Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese people”.

That Lyme disease is a “highly likely, militarily engineered bio-weapon”.

That "pesticide causes children to become transgender".

That it is “undeniable that African AIDS is an entirely different disease from Western AIDS”.

He has also said in the past that he is anti-vaccine. I just cannot fathom how anyone can possibly say he is qualified for the role for which Trump has nominated him, and I think it says volumes about Trump himself that he saw fit to nominate a conspiracy theorist for such an extremely important position within the federal government. I certainly hope he does not get confirmed, for the sake of all Americans.

He's an absolute lunatic, and an alleged sexual predator.

He ticks all the right boxes for membership of the Trump administration.

Do you realize what you are doing, you are attacking the person because you have been fed propaganda by the dems.

The current people running the health system have delivered the worst health system in the western world. If you keep the same people then you are keeping the same broken system.

It takes courage to go in different directions and its not easy but if Kennedy delivers a better health system and improves the health of Americans regardless of his personal beliefs that would be a good outcome for Americans even if you don't agree with him 100%.

Trump derangement syndrome
Fareed Zakaria defined the term as "hatred of President Trump so intense that it impairs people's judgment"

Yeah, no - that's really NOT what is happening. This is all about things he has said publicly, on the record. Nothing to do with propaganda, no matter how much you wish it so. He is a fruit loop who shouldn't be anywhere near a government job, much less one that will affect the health care of millions of Americans.

Cooney initially told how she went to work for Kennedy in 1998, when she was 23 and he was a 45-year-old environmental attorney. Describing a series of unwanted advances, she said Kennedy ultimately “came up behind her … and began groping her, putting his hands on her hips and sliding them up along her rib cage and breasts”, before being interrupted by someone walking into the room.

When Kennedy was asked about Cooney’s allegations, he told the BreakingPoints podcast he was “not a church boy … I have so many skeletons in my closet”, but refused to comment further.

Trump likes him because he's a crazy conspiracy theorist who ignores (and quite frankly, doesn't understand) science.

If anyone in the GOP doesn't get behind whomever Trump likes, they'll be primaried.

To Leroy, it doesn't matter what the subject actually said, but who reported on it.

If you can find friendly news sources for Leroy that he can't dismiss, he'll just claim you have TDS and move on.

Defending the indefensible 101.

I don't know of anyone who supports terrorists. I also have no idea how you made the jump from health services to terrorism.  Huh

A man who does not believe in limits to Presidential power (at least when he himself holds that office) is now the President.

What did he do that is out of his limits as President or are you just saying that because of TDS?.
