They just throw out attack lines as if they live in a complete and total vacuum. It doesn't matter if Trump did the same thing, they'll either ignore it or deny it.

The only time they care someone has done the same thing as someone else is what one of those people is Trump, and they're trying to deflect something he's done by lying and saying someone else did the same thing, even if they didn't.

We're back to the era of post-truth where the only thing matters is thinking you've won, at all costs.
