Good to see the Kiwis weaning themselves away from the PRC, if only by proxy in this case. The government at last seems to have realised that they have jeopardised their security relationships with Australia and the US with their 'Belt and Road' deal.

The Kiwis especially have been reliant on Australia and the US to do the heavy lifting on their behalf.
