if you visit the outer suburbs, there are no hospitals, no new public transport,
just endless rows of dog box housing and people doing service jobs to service all the social problems that come from this barren existence

and our standard of living was so high because of cheap fossil fuels

20 litres of deisel enable me to do the work of 100 men doing manual labour for a week

take away cheap energy and standards of living will plummett.

victorians may die of the cold next winter
mains gas will not be available
and you just try and make bricks,concrete, timber, tiles, stainless steel without cheap fossil fuel power.

the costs have doubled in the last 5 years and so will the cost of new housing

its a simple choice

burn coal like china and india (our coal by the way)

or accept a lower standard of living

pretty simple choice for me

i love the stoic life

but for a fat sloppy entitled fecker in the burbs..he wants his air con, his netflix, his home deliveries, his cheap sugary foods , his bulk billing, his free public hospital, his free nursing home

tough titties..he aint gunna get it Cheesy

No. Geography is destiny. Australia is part of Asia, and if we can't breed up then we need immigrants.

27 million people on the 2nd driest continent in the world is more than enough. So that's not "small Australia" ... Big Australia like the 2030 renewables & zero emissions targets is not practical or attainable.

In case you haven't noticed we are in a cost of living & housing crisis. As well as increased homelessness as a result.

We can't house anymore migrants ... especially since Albanese has bought in nearly a million in his term of office with that forecast to have increased to 1.6 million by the end of 2025 into 2026.

New migrants just moved up here. They saw how Caucasian the region was at the time. Then they moved back south. Perhaps we should start lowering the migration rates to pre-Labor levels, so that us Aussies can have a chance to breed.
