So what will "the west" look like in the 2040s? First, and most obviously, there will be nothing remotely recognisable as "free" speech. Me just a month back:

Chris Minns, the woeful Premier of New South Wales, gave the game away in his reaction to the Bondi Beach massacre. Muslims open fire on ten-year-old girls? Shut up, he explained:

'I acknowledge that we don't have the same free speech rules that they have in the United States and I make no apologies for that. We have got a responsibility to knit together our community, that comes from different races and religions.'

Or as the Daily Telegraph headline writer summarised it:

'Free speech will have to go to preserve multiculturalism'

Pauline Hanson claims Nine is “trying to sack” breakfast television host Karl Stefanovic after over his interview with prominent British activist Tommy Robinson after the vision of the sit down was disappeared from digital multiple platforms carrying his eponymous Karl Stefanovic Show overnight.

Reposting breakfast show host’s interview with Robinson shorty after 8am on Wednesday, Hanson claimed: “It looks like they’re trying to sack my good friend Karl Stefanovic for this video with Tommy Robinson!”

Karl Stefanovic has “almost certainly” appeared on the small screen for Nine – and hosted its Today show – for the last time with the network’s executives deciding to cut ties with its long-standing breakfast show presenter on Wednesday.

The 11th hour call comes after the broadcaster’s top bosses spent the day locked in closed-door meetings at the company’s North Sydney bunker after the increasingly outspoken presenter actively promoted common sense activist Tommy Robinson on his independent podcast this week.

It is understood the network’s executives intended to discuss the decision with Stefanovic, who is in London on two weeks of leave, overnight on Wednesday, due to the time difference.

Both sides are expected to call in their respective lawyers in the coming days to officially draw up a legal deed confirming the terms of Stefanovic’s departure from the network after more than two decades given he still has six months and more than $1m to run on his current 12-month contract.

Son of a bitch! Konstantin here uses a phrase of mine - 'responsible citizen' and discusses how this is so often lacking.

I raised the phrase in mention (I won't call it discussion after Freeman put such a stranglehold on civilised discussion of the issues involved) of 'sovereign citizens' ... wherein I said that every citizen is essentially sovereign - The People As Sovereign - but that LIVING that way required Responsible Citizenship - meaning abiding by the forms of civilised behaviour... and it not just being open slather to do as thou wilt.... as Aleister Crowley said....

The truly Responsible Citizen is Sovereign - and capable of co-existing in peace with similar neighbours - not launching some war against the society around him/her to sustain his/her narcissistic requirements .....

I grapple with mighty thoughts - that's one reason for my monicker... The Grappler....

In the end the reason why the nine star was sacked is because he was outspoken about the current government.

Strings were pulled. Nine executives were informally made aware of their business dealings concerning future government advertising spending and the “ in works “ changes “ of government policy for free to air tv content of rugby league matches and just how quickly the disgraced sports minister- Anika wells could push forward exemptions to the current law so the NRL is hidden behind pay walls.

It’s a simple smart business decision to sack anyone who threatens the current government who is also your third biggest customer in advertising $$$$
