Great wineries, no wonder that Henry Lawson become an alcoholic  Wink

Nundle, Weabonga and Cockburn on NSW-SA border  with 2 pubs across the border so we could have a beer in SA when NSW pub was shut. BTW, when in Cockburn you should say Couburn due to local cultural sensitivity  Lips Sealed

In Vic I like …
Yarrawonga (best op shops and amazing water skiing lake)
Swan Hill (peaceful camping by the riverside)
Bonnie Doon (it’s the serenity!)
Foster (friends recently moved there and when we visit… the air quality is amazing!)
Gunnamatta ocean beach (that ocean energy)
Yarra Glen (great antique stores)
Healesville (great vineyards along the way)
I will do NSW next soon…

NSW I like …
Goulburn (recently discovered the best 2nd hand book store there!)
Junee (that chocolate and licorice place!)
Tamworth (best beef I’ve tasted there is ages! And yes I saw many happy cows in beautiful grassland properties roaming freely)
Parkes  (Okay we like it because of The Dish)
The highland in the Great Dividing Range (it’s just a different feeling there I can’t explain, sort of unspoilt)

Never spent much time in Vic/NSW towns but, yeah, I do like Swan Hill. And Parkes for the radio telescope.

Please don't thank me. Effusive fawning and obeisance of disciples, mendicants, and foot-kissers embarrass me.
