I did the walk across the crosswalk while I was there. You have to.

The locals don't like it though - they're forever having to stop and wait for tourists to take photos.

Lots of beeping of horns

There's a cool little gift shop next door to the studio (on the right), where you can buy all sorts of souvenirs.

I've got my Abbey Road guitar picks

The studio isn't that far from Little Venice - about a 15 to 20 minute walk.

It's well worth checking out Little Venice while you're so close.

I started walking from Paddington station, bought an ice-cream at the little ice-cream shop in Little Venice, then walked along the canal until you get to the road that takes you to Lord's Cricket Ground and then it's not much further to the Abbey Road studio.

Or, you can bypass Lord's and take a different road that gets you to the studio a bit quicker.
