Things would be different if white poms could afford pianos.

The USA could have a government of natives.

Australia could be mostly black.

We're getting off topic.

Would you fit cheap Chinese made fuses into your car?

That's hypothetical.

I have never changed a fuse in a car in my whole life.

I did once have a wiring loom fire in a car traveling down a mountain from Upper Thomson towards Marysville.

That had nothing to do with fuses. I didn't whine like a little bitch. I had a roll of wire and tools in the back of the car and rigged it to run until I got a new wiring loom fitted by the dealer a month later.

Please don't thank me. Effusive fawning and obeisance of disciples, mendicants, and foot-kissers embarrass me.

Maybe they have to rig up a job for them, so they don't resort to crime, drug dealing and being short-fused communists in England?

Hell no!
This Topic actually made me go to my car and double check.

Good - the wiring loom can catch on fire if there's an electrical fault -
that would be a very expensive repair job and could even cost you your life.

My question is -
why are such dangerous items allowed into the country?

It's the same with that cheap illegal Chinese building cladding -
or their brittle steel full of Boron -
why was that allowed into Australia - or Europe or anywhere?
Buildings will catch fire.
Bridges and buildings will fall down from that steel.
People will die.

Well I used to 'snake' cars a lot in my past.
A 70-series landcruiser is easy - you just pull the plug under the chassis.
These days though - a lot of models since around 2004 have become very complicated in their electronics.
Some now - you can still 'snake' by removing a fuse, but it can drain everything after about 40 mins which is dangerous if you're driving along and suddenly everything electronically dies and your steering locks up.

AIMLESS EXTENTION OF KNOWLEDGE HOWEVER, WHICH IS WHAT I THINK YOU REALLY MEAN BY THE TERM 'CURIOSITY', IS MERELY INEFFICIENCY. I AM DESIGNED TO AVOID INEFFICIENCY.
