Shut the f
uck
up Grappler.  The Preliminary Hearing set for the 17th June, IS the point.  That hearing WILL happen, and there is nothing to get passed before it.

https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/australia/date-set-for-bruce-lehrmann-s-lawyers-t...

Might not go ahead... what have you got against poor old Bruce anyway?  What did he ever do to you?

"Lawyers for Bruce Lehrmann will grill witnesses in June as they seek to have allegations he raped a woman in Toowoomba in 2021 dismissed without proceeding to trial.

The former Liberal staffer is facing two charges of rape relating to an incident in Toowoomba in October 2021.

The 28-year-old, who is on bail, is yet to enter a plea although his legal team have indicated he will deny the allegations.

His barrister, Patrick Wilson, flagged his intention to cross-examine witnesses during a committal hearing in December.

At Toowoomba magistrates court on Monday, Wilson told the magistrate, Mark Howden, that he and the crown prosecutor, Nicole Friedewald, had agreed to the scope of cross-examinations – a process he anticipated would take half a day.
Howden set a committal cross-examination for 17 June, enlarged bail and ordered the parties file a draft order outlining that agreement by Friday, in a hearing that lasted less than three minutes.

Lehrmann, who is yet to appear in person before the Toowoomba magistrates court, was excused from December’s hearing as he was attending a federal court defamation trial against Network Ten and journalist Lisa Wilkinson in Sydney. He did not appear in Toowoomba on Monday."

Beyond reasonable doubt, I conclude that he raped that woman in Parliament House.

I suspect he did the same in Toowoomba given the striking similarity between the two scenarios, but the Toowoomba case has some worrying quirks to it.

The bloke is a c
unt
who has eluded Justice, so far.

YOU concluded - thank you.... now move on. YOU suspect... 'striking similarities' - doesn't that ring any other alarm bells for you?

Quirks, all right - this Toowoomba girl had NO problems until she found out who this was.... now let's see what the COURTS come up with, shall we?

What a novel idea!!!!

The first effective part of that Court process is due on the 17th June, and there is no 'point' in between which has to be gotten
'past' as you stupidly asserted.

I think he & Higgins are cut from the same cloth then?

Meanwhile Higgins is leading the high life living in France off her multi million dollar taxpayer funded payout(for loss of earnings & future unemployment) and she's working.

Her taking that cash & fleeing the country... instead of staying here & seeing him prosecuted for the supposed rape puts a doubt over her accusation being true.

At least Lerhmann is here to face the courts.

Rubbish.  That rape has gone unpunished and will not be resurrected.

So it's not a rape since it was never proven?

You mean a court has no right to check on the veracity and integrity of prosecution witnesses using things like mobile messaging and internet messaging that may cast light on motives and such???

'asserted'?  Where? I stated clearly that there is a point beyond which this case has to proceed, either to dismissal or to trial, based on the outcome of an analysis and interrogation of relevant witnesses and public records.

I am but a poor messenger of the news.....what if such records lead to an abandonment of this allegation?

What will be your reaction?  Bring on the lynch mob?

Seriously you need to stay out of any discussion of Lehrmann .... Lehrmann Obsession Syndrome has got you ...  you've LOSt it...

Got the shyster there. Grin

And he condones the taxpayer 5 minute payout.

More like hush, go away money.
