Thank you for that, greggerypeccary. It will dawn upon me the way I could use the youtube channel to watch a heap of movies for free on television. I have actually a lot of university lectures on my channel that I wanted to watch. But I did not feel like sitting in my chair watching them. They will be good to watch whilst I sit in a comfortable lounge chair. And then there are all these documentaries that I could finally start watching, rather than half-listen to whilst I computer game.

Advertisers are the ones paying to air the programs you watch. You can always stay with the customer payed services if you prefer. Many streaming services will charge almost double if you don't want your TV time interrupted by advertisers. Someone has to pay to make it available.
