Excuse I, old boy, what's the gun death rate in deepest darkest Africa?
We'll do a compare and contrast, shall we?
Death rate in Africa? You mean the continent where the inhabitants shoot you for even looking at them wrong. I dunno. I figure that any reporting on the crime throughout the countries of Africa would not be accurate, as the reporters would go missing during or after the investigation. Even the media gets mugged on camera by brazen thieves that do not care that they are getting recorded... or at least until the thieves are caught and claim that the arrest is unlawful due to them not realising that they were being recorded.
Yes, dear,
Africa. If the old boy's argument about
tintedness is correct, we'll see the most killings in the countries with the
darkest populations, yes? That's called
correlation, so let's have a look. Sometimes it helps to refer to the figures to get a clear idea of the facts, does it not?
Here's the most recently published list of countries with the most gun deaths:
Quote:Countries with the Highest Total Gun Deaths (all causes) in 2019
Brazil 49,436
United States 37,038
Venezuela 28,515
Mexico 22,116
India 14,710
Colombia 13,169
Philippines 9,267
Guatemala 5,980
As you can see, the deepest darkest
Africans aren't listed. Those countries have populations ranging from tawny to a dark shade of brown, but not black as we see in the
dark continent.
Here's the top ten list of gun deaths adjusted by population:
Quote:Countries with the Highest Rates of Violent Gun Death (Homicides) per 100k residents in 2019
El Salvador 36.78
Venezuela 33.27
Guatemala 29.06
Colombia 26.36
Brazil 21.93
Bahamas 21.52
Honduras 20.15
U.S. Virgin Islands 19.40
Puerto Rico 18.14
Mexico 16.41
As you can see, they're all in America, where they make most of the guns. Most of the guns in Central America are smuggled in from the US via Mexico. People there are a moderate shade of brown, with a smattering of black and white.
Here's the top ten list of gun suicides:
Quote:Countries with the Highest Rates of Firearm-Related Suicide (per 100k) in 2019
Greenland 16.36
United States 7.12
Uruguay 4.74
San Marino 4.08
Montenegro 3.40
Argentina 2.67
Finland 2.66
Monaco 2.64
France 2.64
Venezuela 2.50
As you can see, they're mainly white, or possibly
tanned. Some might be tattooed, which does not appear to skew the data in any particular direction.
The countries with the lowest deaths? A mixed bag, with some whites, tanned and in the case of East Asia, yellow.
Quote:In contrast to the U.S. and Latin America, gun deaths are extremely rare in countries like Japan, the United Kingdom, Norway, and Australia. These countries have implemented incentives or passed legislation to decrease the number of firearms in circulation. For example, in July 2021, Australia implemented a permanent gun amnesty program, in which unregistered firearms could be anonymously surrendered at police stations.
https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/gun-deaths-by-countryThree countries have more deaths than all other countries in the world combined: Brazil, the US and Mexico, respectively. These countries have mixed populations, with a combination of white, brindle, Mulatto and high yellow. Yes, there is some black in the mix, but not in any significant number in the overall populations, as you would observe, for instance, in the dark African Negroid populations.
As you can see, the phenomenon of gun death does not appear to have anything to do with
tintedness at all. There is therefore no correlation in the figures or any indication of causation.
Year 9 maths, innit.
