Has anyone had a look at the NRL ladder? The Dolphins are in the top 3.

https://www.nrl.com/ladder/?competition=111&round=1&season=2023

Edit : Anyone know why the actual dolphin emblem representing the team is RED and not BLUE???

Red, Gold & White

The logo series incorporate the three primary colours of the team, with red and white inspired by the original Redcliffe Dolphins and the famous red cliffs of the landscape as well as the new hero colour, a sand gold. It was designed with an alternate direct inversion of colours, creating a versatile and contemporary brand.

I didn't know either - I looked it up.

Ha! Here I thought I was asking a naive question as a non QLDer. There you go!

Edit : I still think the colours are wrong because dolphins + sea = blue

Redcliff is a beach suburb they have a red rock headland and they have dolphins at their beach.

I agree with your colour perception and also understand where they are coming from. It is like the Manly sea eagles being Moron in colour. Never seen a marone sea eagle and never seen a sea eagle at Manly. I do get Manly being coloured moron.

Parramatta eels - Blue and yellow ? The penrith panthers were originally Brown and the red white and blue roosters - red and green rabbits.

Thay are all stuffed up but nobody cares.

I didn’t know that. Very interesting.

The colours are a tad stuffed across many NRL teams.

If that game went to golden point last night, I would have called the game a thriller/classic. But, the Cowboys screwed up and let the game get away.
