The DPP closed the trial down, in the belief the trial was doing more harm to Ms Higgans' mental health - than a guilty verdict would benefit

The last I heard was that she was in a mental health facility after having a break-down

There will be a civil case, once she is ready to face it
I'm pretty sure this can be done without her taking the stand

* I'm not a fan of civil trials - for a number of reasons - but "California, here we come"

Since when has the DPP been in the game of medical/mental health assessment?

Her so called "breakdown" didn't seem to last very long - a couple of days maybe....

she's been constantly in the news with the new beau since her taxpayer funded payout - which occurred within a day or so of the aborted trial.

In light of her multi million dollar payout what would be the point of a civil trial dragging this up & out again?

No concern for her mental health in that whether she has to take the stand or not???

Is Lisa Wilkinson going to run the case for her? Roll Eyes
