Sometimes. But I think I have a better understanding of the psychology of people who drink than you.

One doesn't need any deep understanding of anything to be an alcoholic

Oh, well - at least he won't be pissing her money up against the gambling like he did with his last missus ... they'll need it all to self-defend.... politics is a nasty business, ain' it? Give a payout with one hand and then work out you've got enough to pay a defamation suit....

Why would Higgins get involved financially?

If I were the wanker, I'd defend and let the politician talk to my trustee in bankruptcy if she wins.
