Alcohol tends to be used to either numb pain
Or make people who feel insecure develop courage

Usually not a good idea to hand over your own mental state to anything other than your own
Sense of personal responsibility

Because hiding from pain and denying your true reality is low vibrational energy
Alcohol tends to attract more low vibration energy

Anger and depression seem to follow

What happened to Brittany happened and couldn't have happened any other way because it didn't

Telling her she is a victim
Rewarding her with millions of dollars
Reinforcing the victim narrative by so doing
Helps Britney in no way whatsoever

Britney needs to fully accept what happened
Understand her role in this manifestation
And course-correct

If not she will just continue to repeat the same behavioural patterns
And manifest the same results

The fact that she is now involved with someone who squandered hundreds of thousands of dollars on gambling
And seems to have zero insight into his own personal dramas
Is proof of the universal Axiom

We don't attract what we want we attract what we are
And nothing will change for you until you change
It's also proof of the universal Axiom

If you want to totally demolish someone's future
Tell them they are a victim of circumstance
And reward their victimhood

Nothing is more disempowering than that

She gets engaged.  How is that a bad thing?

..and how about Mr Ed up there ^^^^^ demonstrating his ignorance?  Just bizarre.

And the crap about Drumgold.  How many times will some of you keep ignoring reality.  A Magistrate, the Defence Counsel and the Trial Judge all concluded there was enough evidence to go to a Jury.  The integrity of the decision to prosecute is further confirmed in the fact that the Jury after SEVEN DAYS remained undecided.

Fuqqing morons, some of you.

So you didn't read up on his history?

Fairly slack for a legal man ... no research.

No wonder your career was checkered. Grin

Well - not a dead ringer, but certainly as much of a sucker.

RUN, Brittany ... RUN!!!

You shouldn't go near that in a radiation suit or touch with a barge pole..... Vladimir Koswolski, known as The Vulgar Boatman ... at 7'10" the longest Pole you'll ever meet.

Jesus, girl - talk about having a breakdown... it seems your whole life is a breakdown.  Get with it, get your mind right, and get on the straight and narrow.

I predict wedding bells and less than a year with this jerk while he throws money into a hurricane.... her money hard-earned with complaining about the terrible burden of owning a pussy for life and maintaining it in good order (it's an overweaning sense of entitlement thing, drummed into them from birth - The Golden Gully as the Japanese call it... paid for one way or another).....   Cool  Cool  Cool

Question:-  Are girls these days so desperate for a husband, or are they just plain silly??

Added Note:-  No wonder this jerk couldn't work - NOBODY WOULD WILLINGLY EMPLOY A GAMBLING ADDICT WHO WOULD SURELY EMBEZZLE YOU!!

A horribly hung-over Brittany woke up with a jerk...... dragging her arm from under the jerk, she shook her aching head and wondered WTF she had gotten up to the night before...  vague memories of a public spectacle of announcing a coming marriage floated into her mind.... surely a dream... more a nightmare... she looked at the jerk lying there comatose... "Ye Gods", leapt into her mind.... "How did I end up in bed with the spruce goose?"  Slowly it dawned on her that this was not the fabled spruce goose at all ... but a dead ringer.....  and one whose ex-wife had said near ruined her with his gambling... now it was she taking the chance with all her hard-earned millions.......

Time for an Alexei Sayle Joe-Schmoe direct to the audience:-

"The day after Quasimodo fell to his death from the bell tower, someone knocks on the door of the church.. the priest opens it and is astounded to see Quasimodo standing there.  "But.. but... you're.. dead!"

"Nah, nah" says the guy - "I'm actually yesterday's bell ringer's twin brother and I want the job"...  the priest has doubts but still...off they go up the tower, and the priest shows the new guy how you run at the bells and strike them with your head to set them off... the guy has a practice run at it, misses the bells like yesterday's hero, and falls to HIS death.

The gendarmes arrive and ask the guy's name... the priest ponders a moment - then says: "I didn't catch his name - but he's a dead ringer for his brother...."

For the past 2.5 years, I have been using alcohol as a way to deep dive into my subconscious. When you have mental health issues like mine, drinking is a way to relieve the built-up pressure of subconscious conflict. Only a few times have I starting drinking a bottle of scotch and I find myself that I did not really feel like drinking that night. On other nights, I just get through half the bottle at least and then head to bed where I experience those intoxicated-inspired dreams. Those sorts of dreams usually helps explain away the reasoning for my conscious actions.

I do not know what Brittany was thinking that night she got really drunk and (later) claimed to be raped. But, I figure that she was really letting her guard down to have had 15 drinks in one night. Could she have been having problems in her relationship that she did not want to deal with sober?

I am still at a stage where if you have one drink, you should have at least 5. One drink is only when you are finishing up the bottle.

most people get past that stage when they're 20 Roll Eyes

Do you seriously think that someone going out to a bar will have one drink and then head home?

why add a bar into the equation? You said you can't have just One drink, you should have at least 5 ...  period. There was no mention of where, when or how.

Imagine a scenario where someone walks into a pub, buys an alcoholic drink, and then leaves after finishing their one drink. Imagine another scenario where someone walks into a bottle shop, buys one (standard drink) bottle of alcoholic beverage, and leaves to consume at home.

Regardless of where you consume your alcohol, you normally do not stop at one. I have only seen one person in my life buy a beer after having a meal. And I mean, that is okay to wash down your meal with a beer to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the restaurant.

But how often do you see people stop at one alcoholic drink when they are at home drinking or at a bar? Unless they are finishing up the remainder of their booze, normally people go for that second or third drink, to get their buzz. You might as well not drink at all, otherwise.

thats got to be one of the most stupid rants you've ever posted.

Millions of people stop at one
every day. I typically have ONE beer with dinner and thats it. If it's really hot or I've been doing something physical outside I might have a second. Have I ever been drunk? Many times, but thats far different from claiming that no one stops at one. Unlike you, most people aren't alcoholics.

Stupid rant? I might come home from a long walk and have a single beer to recover. But, people might as well be drinking water if they are just going to stop at one alcoholic drink. I am not saying that people don't stop at one drink. But I reckon millions more do drink more than one drink at a bar or at home. I only ever see people having one drink at a restaurant with their meals.
