For reasons - unclear to me, now - I initially had a gut feeling she'd be good for the Tories (no great challenge, on the heels of Boris Johnson) and more of a right of centre moderate, along the lines of David Cameron.

That's the last 'gut feeling' I go with - as she's turned out to be a good Tory leader, for Labour !

She's hopeless.

Terrible leader, horrible in front of a camera, clueless - I'm not sure what they were thinking when they picked her.

They should have gone with Rishi Sunak.

Anyway, he might still get the job, if she's given the boot before Christmas.

And strangely enough, Bozo Boris might even be considered again.

The UK Prime Ministership is a poisoned chalice at the moment. I doubt anyone really wanted the job and Truss was the candidate that the party found least objectionable, not because she was thought to be right for the job. After the next election, whatever the result, the Tories will regroup and find someone they think is better suited and will have a better chance at retaining/ winning government.

That's because the Corporatocrisy has made such a complete takeover that it is impossible for them to take any action that is in the interest of the average voter.

This should be a message for Australia for the much discussed tax cuts for the rich.
