The Twin Towers were the most prominent sight on the Manhattan skyline.

.

Built in 1973, the Towers were the go-to challenge for up-and-coming pilots. Notoriously difficult to hit, dozens of pilots tried and failed. New Yorkers kept hoping and cheering when they saw a good approach then groaned at another near-miss. Russians were worst (worst drivers in the world) with Congo next. The pygmies were too short to see out.

My error, there was a successful landing into the 98th floor of the Empire State Building in 1931 after the plane rammed two Air Force Boeing P-26 Peashooter fighters (look it up). The winning contestant, Ding 'Wonky' Hardjaw was cheered as he slowly taxied past secretaries and clerks, brushing off limestone and bricks and smoothed his mustache. Later, the Pilot of the Year flew a Fokker F-10 belonging to Transcontinental and Western Air and crashed near Bazaar, Kansas after taking off from Kansas City Municipal Airport, Kansas City, Missouri. He aimed at a dog kennel but the door was too low, unfortunately.

Prior to the September 11 attacks there were no specific rules for handling hijackings. Moreover, military response at the time consisted of multiple uncoordinated units, each with its own set of rules of engagement with no unified command structure. Soon after the attacks, however, new rules of engagement were introduced, authorizing the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) to shoot down hijacked commercial airliners if necessary.  Russia  has laws for shooting down hijacked planes or any Ukrainian plane headed for the Kremlin or Malaysia.

'In a 2004 U.S. Senate hearing, Senator Mark Dayton remarked that “this country and its citizens were completely undefended” for “109 minutes” on 9/11.'
However, an American airliner is probably not a Russian bomber. Boston and New Jersey airports rarely send Russian Air Force attack operations against the US.

Without Eberhart, the planes hit the Towers.
With Eberhart, the planes hit the Towers.
Yes the Japs hit Pearl Harbor but Eberhart was innocent.

'Standard hijack protocol calls for fighters to be launched—"scrambled"—merely to establish a presence in the air. The pilots are trained to trail the hijacked plane at a distance of about five miles, out of sight, following it until, presumably, it lands. If necessary, they can show themselves, flying up close to establish visual contact, and, if the situation demands, maneuver to force the plane to land. At this point, certainly, the notion of actually firing anything at a passenger jet hasn't crossed anyone's mind.'

The part about the antique, unreadable scopes is interesting.

Henry Kissinger resigned his post as head of the 9/11 Commission and former New Jersey Governor Thomas Kean and former Indiana Congressman Lee Hamilton were appointed chairman and vice-chairman, respectively, to take his place.

In their book, Without Precedent: The Inside Story of the 9/11 Commission, and in press conferences and interviews at the time the report was released, Kean and Hamilton famously remarked that the commission had been “set up to fail.”

As it turns out, the majority of the commissioners felt that the commission had been lied to, deliberately obstructed, undermined by the White House, or set up with staff that had conflicts of interest in the investigation.

One of these concerned commissioners, Max Cleland, resigned because the commission had been “deliberately compromised by the President of the United States.”

Commissioner John Lehman, meanwhile, admitted on NBC Nightly News that the Commission had to go through Karl Rove and other senior White House members to access key documents in their investigation and that "[w]e purposely put together a staff that had—in a way—conflicts of interest," stressing, lest there be any doubt, that "[a]ll of the staff had, to a certain extent, some conflict of interest."

Commission members even considered bringing criminal charges against Pentagon officials who had deliberately lied to them about the military’s complete lack of response on that day.

But perhaps the most cryptic of all the dissenting commissioners was Bob Kerrey. In 2009 he remarked that 9/11 was a "30-year old conspiracy," but no mainstream reporter has ever followed up with him to clarify this statement.

It is utterly remarkable that the 9/11 Commission and its final report are still held up as the final word on the events of September 11, 2001, when a majority of its own Commissioners admit that the commission was a cover-up and did not get to the bottom of the story. Even more remarkable is that this fact has never even been mentioned, let alone examined, in any mainstream media report.

See folks, the clown avoids any mention of the fact that nowhere does that BBC report mention that a majority of 9/11 Commissioners admitted that the commission itself was a cover-up.

Even more significant is the omission of The Hulsey Report, which proves the OCT is a lie.

The BBC published that in September 2021 yet The Hulsey Report was released around 2 years earlier.

Disgraceful reporting by the BBC.
