ABC pulls out the knives.

Check out the ABC's top story. After a week of hypocritical politeness, the Leftists at the ABC are campaigning with anti-British propaganda, and they are trying to make it look like news. They don't mind lying either, saying Elizabeth "ruled" over an empire. She didn't even "rule" the Commonwealth. Expect more of this as they attempt to convince Australians that the British are evil, and we are evil by inheritance.

For example, on that website: 'Guam, America's forgotten speck of an island in the Pacific, is the new front line against China'. It's not 'forgotten' but at least the articles are consistent in being commentary. But it's sloppy work ABC.

There's something to that, although it's not due to the 'woke' per se.

It's more to do with youth culture - which has dominated the media and advertising for decades. Politically, youth culture is targeted at the 18-35 age group (maybe 18-30).

I'd say the ABC has determined that 18-30 year-olds are leaning towards a republic. so an 'anti-establishment' stance makes for higher relevance and is good for business.
