You keep having your Convid jab Carl and denying I had Convid or whatever you thought I had...
You may well have
not been infected with COVID mate.
According to Dr Sonya Bennett, Deputy Chief Medical Officer, up to
20% of RATs tests give a false positive. So you may believe that you
were infected, but were not in actuality.
So a 1 in 5 chance of it not being covid. With those odds do you really want to inject more junk into you when you don't have to ? Just think about that for a moment...
COVID vaccines are not "junk". They're a proven protectant against ending up
in hospital and/or in ICU on a ventilator. And of course they will
not protect you
against being infected with the virus, but will greatly reduce your odds of dying
should you become infected.
One has only to look at the
1.8% of people admitted to ICU in New South Wales
in the recent outbreak that were fully vaccinated. [RACGP,
NewsGP]
The vaccines are very effective with evidence showing that people who are fully
vaccinated are
70% to 95% less likely to get sick with COVID compared
with those who are not vaccinated. [
Professor Dimity Pond, University of Newcastle]
To disguise your obvious fear of needles by claiming vaccinations are junk, to be
avoided, is nothing more than a cop-out. I know needle paranoia is a serious thing
to overcome, but in the case of COVID I guess you've just got to grit your teeth.
