I knew about guided bombs in the war ... but never knew that television had developed to the stage of being of practical use for military equipment during that time - quite phenomenal seeing the target on the screen in 1944, as it shows in the vid. The best the Japanese could do was strap a reluctant kamikaze pilot in a plane fitted out for the same purpose
