I probably read more than I should. But, we see hot weather approach mainland Europe every year around this time of year. It is not a rare occurrence that France, Spain, and Germany can reach temperatures above 35 degrees celsius. And when that hot wind blows north to England, temperatures there can get to 35 or above in London.

And where did you get your degree in climate science?

I do not need a degree in climate science when you can get resources on the topic from books and websites like the Bureau of Meteorology.

If you get your information from a primary source over a 20 year period, you can actually make your own inferences based on what you have read. This year, it has not been as hot or as cold as it was last year. Should I then infer that global warming is bogus? Or should I refer to a couple decades to get some short-term information about weather patterns and decide based on that?

Climate scientists go through pages and pages of data and come to their own conclusions about which way the climate is changing. They factor in all kinds of variants that are sources of the changing weather and climate patterns. But, sometimes I think that they do not consider other things -- such as where, when and the number of weather stations that they have for their information.
