Europe v Russia v China
Jan 17th, 2022 at 9:40pm

I said years ago and still do - it will be war between Russia and China.
Why?

Well Russia can't fight on two fronts.
Russia has been pressured by Europe via Ukraine to become more 'Pro-European'.
But to do so would mean 'Anti-Asian' - the final straw for China from its former ally come 'traitor'.
NATO has stacked all borders with Russia, Ukraine is not alone.

Even if Russia fights Europe - it would present an irresistible opportunity for China too. Who knows, China might be an 'ally' to Europe 'under-the-table'.

Regardless. Russia is f*ucked! Putin will run away and hide like Rasputin did, when the shyte went down. Russia will plead with the USA to help (fight China), but only North Korea could bring the USA into the fray - much to China's anger.

The interesting point is the overlapping 'spheres of influence', of Xinjiang, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, with China and Russia.

This is the 'edge', and these countries and the 'autonomous province', while 'poor' in the sense that the common person does not earn a lot (about $750 a month) while the top boys do (nothing new), are rich in resources most especially including petroleum.

Two things are of interest - the classic divide between a resource rich nation/state which should be able to supply prosperity to all, and the reality that most of the cash goes to the self-appointed few* - and the fact that these resources are at the meeting point of these two great 'communist' nations.**

There lies the genesis of serious potential future conflict... again over control of resources.

I may be headed there this year, but at the moment entry is closed ..... though apparently airline services still run there from India and a few other nations.

* this is the root cause of the unrest seen recently in Kazakhstan, with the common folk being commanded to bear the burden of higher fuel costs on their $750 a month to support the profiteers at the top... more of a 'people power' movement than a religious or other kind of revolt... a bit like Xinjiang and the Falun Gong, no?

** bring on 'the great divide' to explain to we peons the delusion of our personal sovereignty v the state, while those at the top of the state, run along the lines he loves, are totally into personal sovereignty and capitalism for their own profiteering from the sweat and blood of their people who will be forced to comply .....

MOSCOW, February 18. /TASS/. Russia and China are developing an intergovernmental agreement on the supply of coal in the amount of 100 million tonnes, Head of Department of Foreign Economic Cooperation and Fuel Markets Development at the Russian Energy Ministry Sergey Mochalnikov announced on Friday.

Mochalnikov recalled that in October 2021, Russia and India signed a memorandum on the supply of 40 mln tonnes of coal to India as part of the Russian Energy Week. "Now an intergovernmental agreement with the People's Republic of China is being developed, and the figure is 100 mln tonnes," he said.

"In the coming years, consumers should receive as much coal as they need," Mochalnikov said.

Mochalnikov also noted that Russian coal exports have very good prospects due to reduced supply on the world market. In addition, according to him, in the past 5-6 years, the Asia-Pacific market has been a priority export destination for Russia against the growing demand for coal in this region. "We have good prospects until 2030, and Russia should take its share in this growing market," he added.

NYT’s Hannah-Jones Claims ‘Racialized’ Bias Coverage of Russia Invasion Due to Ukrainians’ ‘White’ Appearance[/size]

Left-wing New York Times reporter and controversial 1619 Project creator Nikole Hannah-Jones was slammed online after accusing journalists covering the Russian invasion into Ukraine of “racialized analysis and language” in their reporting, indicating their “sympathy” for white victims of conflict and refugees in particular while claiming Europe is a fictional continent intended to separate it from non-“civilized” nations.

On Sunday, Hannah-Jones, author of the debunked New York Times 1619 Project, called on fellow journalists to “look internally” regarding acknowledging their racial biases in their coverage of the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine.

On Sunday, Hannah-Jones, author of the debunked New York Times 1619 Project, called on fellow journalists to “look internally” regarding acknowledging their racial biases in their coverage of the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Later in the day, Hannah-Jones called the European continent a “geopolitical fiction” intended to separate it from Asia and which led to the “alarm” over an invasion of people who “are like us.”

“What if I told you Europe is not a continent by defintion, but a geopolitical fiction to separate it from Asia and so the alarm about a European, or civilized, or First World nation being invaded is a dog whistle to tell us we should care because they are like us,” she asked.

Its like that other tinted bint, Whiney Goldberg, saying the holocaust wasnt about race coz Joos are white.
For such bints EVERYTHING is about race, ALWAYS. (Except when arguing, like Bbwian, that there is no such thing as race, only white racism).

War is Racism... and Culturalism.

Media described the Yugoslavian War as 'Croats and Serbs' (national) v Moslems (Religion).
The Media didn't describe it as Orthodox and Catholic v Moslems now did it.

The Media is a right villian parasite.

Europe is 'not' Asia - is not Europe. It's the 'Russia' in between that is struggling to be loyal to China (Asia) and yet trying to be accepted as European also. It can't have it both ways. It's breaking or will fold towards one.

In a non nuclear war, China would roll up Russia and send it home in 2 weeks.

Now wouldn't that be a sweet outcome for the world? Wink
We'll even let them take Taiwan as a reward for being a goody.

To understand China you need to understand whiteness, yet it's missing from the conversation

China today is seen as a threat to the West. A threat to the so-called global rules-based order that is itself rooted in a race-based order.

So much of the commentary around China ignores the question of race. So many of the commentators discussing China — predominantly white voices — do not have the racial literacy to begin to understand how race and racism inform China's rise.

In some ways, Xi's China may represent the end of whiteness. Except that the Chinese Communist Party itself mirrors whiteness.

The irony is Xi has also become what he opposes. He is a Han nationalist — his idea of Chinese power is ethnic Han superiority — persecuting non-Han, non-white people in his own country.

If whiteness is power, Xi Jinping is its champion.

The continuation of white power, in darker skin.

A confused race-infused nonsensical  commentary from Grant ...who is no doubt caught up in the current excruciating commentary in Oz about who or what is "aboriginality"...

If the island of Taiwan didn't exist, China wouldn't be a "threat" to the world because China has no claims on the rest of the world.

China only seeks its own national rejuvenation, and it sees Taiwan as part of that process.

The US of course sees Taiwan as the way to create the false "China threat" theory, as an excuse to maintain US global hegemony.

China has no interest in global hegemony.

Non-sequitur; but yes, rejuvenation is a good thing.

This beach is part of HK. 'HK? No such place. Anyway we need it'.

Ditto for Taiwan, in Chinese eyes.

Like I said, it's a pity the island of Taiwan exists so close to the mainland, allowing the losers of the civil war to decamp from the mainland.

Now the whole world is caught up in that dispute, because the US can use the island as a cover to maintain global hegemony.  The US wasn't concerned with the victorious CPC ideology,  when China was weak.
