Peacock was the Liberals' version of Kim Beazley - both decent blokes who never became PM but would have done well as PM had the voters given them a chance.

And just like Kim Beazley he got the plum USA ambassador job.

Now now Batman - I go well out of my way to not insult you even with all the opportunity. Not to worry I will still not go for insults.

Bit of a tip about fruit cake instead especially the Xmas cake. Try Spiced Rum to soak the fruit about 2 months before making the cake. Save plenty to pour on the cake when it is done as well (progressively soak it - but remember no cake and driving) . Others swear on using a good quality scotch.
