Banning the Koran in the UK

A recent incident in the UK where a teacher used a cartoon of muhammad sparked outrage in the muslim community, they declared it as offensive and for that reason alone is enough to ban anyone muslim or non muslim to draw or display cartoons of Muhammad.

What happens if the gay community decide they find the koran offensive and want the koran banned .
