Don't act like we didn't all see this coming.

Who do you think is giving Biden orders through his ear piece?

Even Fox threw this guy out eventually.

For me his biggest highlight was when he was caught on a hot Mic telling Rupert that the idiots that follow him will believe anything.

I don't need to petal. The null hypothesis is that it is natural until such time as it is proven otherwise. Shocked

But thanks for showing your "scientific" credentials. Grin Grin Grin Grin

Which economists?

Which skeptics with no scientific qualifications? W. A. van Wijngaarden and W. Happer?

Please show where any thinking person denies climate changes. The LIA - a change in climate. The MWP - a change in climate. The Holocene Optimum - a change in climate.

Do you deny climate changes? Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Climate changes. And all things being equal increasing CO2 will have a marginal effect. The problem is all things don't remain equal.

"We use statistical methods for nonstationary time series to test the anthropogenic interpretation of global warming (AGW), according to which an increase in atmospheric greenhouse gas concentrations raised global temperature in the 20th century. Specifically, the methodology of polynomial cointegration is used to test AGW since during the observation period (1880–2007) global temperature and solar irradiance are stationary in 1st differences whereas greenhouse gases and aerosol forcings are stationary in 2nd differences. We show that although these anthropogenic forcings share a common stochastic trend, this trend is empirically independent of the stochastic trend in temperature and solar irradiance. Therefore, greenhouse gas forcing, aerosols, solar irradiance and global temperature are not polynomially cointegrated. This implies that recent global warming is not statistically significantly related to anthropogenic forcing. On the other hand, we find that greenhouse gas forcing might have had a temporary effect on global temperature."

You are a dickhead Lee....There is enough scientific consensus and Government agreement where your bullshit scepticism doesn't hold water....The world is acting on global warming despite your bleating....You have no idea!!!

You now go to the garudian for evidence of AGW? Not peer reviewed journals? Oh dear.

BTW - Cook et al 2013 was a "citizen science" project and not peer-reviewed. And quoting a hit piece by Dana (SKS contributor and part author of Cook's 97% shemozzle). Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Btw- "Climate models have accurately reproduced the past, but let's put them aside for a moment." That's because they are tuned to the past. They have no ability to predict anything.

And what didn't you understand about science not being done by consensus. I also noticed you haven't rebutted what I wrote. Just a blanket statement. Why can't you do that? Roll Eyes

Poor petal I will try to break it down into simple steps.

You said "
You quote economists (with links to the White House "Trump") and sceptics who have no scientific qualifications
."

I replied lee wrote on Feb 2nd, 2021 at 6:56pm:

Refute that. A rebuttal showing what you alleged was said was in fact said.

Talk about a time waster. You can't even back up what you say. Roll Eyes

Poor petal. The truth finally emerges. I didn't say there was no Global Warming. That's just you making schist up. I am saying it is a noisy signal and we or may not have measurable AGW.

Of course feel free to link to a paper that quantifies any AGW.

Don't use CMIP5 or CMIP6 which runs hotter. They have many parameters. (parameters - where they insert numbers when they can't do data.

"John von Neumann famously said

With four parameters I can fit an elephant, and with five I can make him wiggle his trunk."

"By this he meant that one should not be impressed when a complex model fits a data set well. With enough parameters, you can fit any data set."

https://towardsdatascience.com/deep-learning-overfitting-846bf5b35e24

Finally the null hypothesis -

"In response to Trenberth’s argument a second review, by Dr Judith Curry, focuses on the concept of a ‘null hypothesis’ the default position which is taken when research is carried out. Currently the null hypothesis for climate change attribution research is that humans have no influence."

https://judithcurry.com/2011/11/03/climate-null-hypothesis/

Judith Curry is a lukewarmer. She thinks there is warming but it is not bad.

Of course they can petal. One talks science and provides peer-reviewed references and the other references the garudian.

The other references something called "climate change denial", but offers no proof. Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Oh, I'd say Darkie, Mort, for sure. But do you know?

We predicted Dear Leader would be an economic disaster and you said ooh. We even showed the accounting by Price Waterhouse: Hillary versus Trump, with his tax cuts and expensive promises.

Trump, of course, surpassed even that. Who could tell Trump would triple the government deficit in one term - before covid?

I hate talking politics, but the jury's out. Trump turned Obama's GFC deficit of 9 tril into a deficit of 29 - in one term, before covid.

Obama picked up a global financial crisis and turned it around. George W Bush took a Clinton surplus and spent it on war. Clinton took on a George HW deficit and turned it into a surplus, and on and on it goes.

Read my lips: no new taxes, no?

Democrat presidents have been cleaning up after Republican deficits since WWII. Biden's left with the mess created by Trump.

Now forgive me, Mort, for taking your predictions with a grain of salt.

We will make America great again, no?

Darkie, do you mean Susan Rice? That is so racist!

Apparently you don't understand economics any better than biden. The consumer or end user always pays for the increases, these fat cats you want to pay their fair share just pass the taxes on. When prices go up, demand goes down. Demand goes down and tax revenue goes down. Less taxes collected, lower return for raising taxes.

Trumps four years added seven trillion, obama added nine trillion while letting our military preparedness degrade. We saw what happened when Trump sent the budget back to congress, they either shut down the government and blamed him or he signed it and they blamed him for increasing the deficit. That was one of the reasons for part of the deficit. If other countries would pay their fair share we could spend less protecting you!

Obama inherited a democrat created financial mess, when you loan billions of dollars to people who can't pay it back there are consequences.

Democrat Presidents have always "kicked the can down the road" and left the incoming Republican Administration to catch up! All they care about is personal power and feeding their greed. The best way to do that is to continually grow government, bigger government means more power for them.

The biggest mistake people here in Australia make is to think that Democrats = Labor and Republicans = LNP....

Each nation is distinct in its political separations......

No, dear. Obama added 8.75 trill to your government debt. Mr Trump added 8.53, prior to the covid stimulous, which gets added to next year's budget.

On the military, Mr Trump continued the funding trajectory of Obama, which was largely bi-partisan. The Senate passed the funding 89 votes in favour to 8 against. It cost 700 billion, not 8.53 trill.

Democrats supported a higher pay rise for troops, which was declined. You know that, everybody knows. Obama gave troops pay rises each budget.

Fact check:

https://www.cnn.com/2019/07/01/politics/trump-didnt-give-troops-first-raise/inde...

Now stop pretending. Obama inherited a GFC from a Republican administration. His debt paid for economic stimulous. Trump's debt paid for corporate tax cuts, which amounted to your government borrowing money to fund a rise to Wall Street stock prices.

Bush W did the same, after inheriting a surplus from Clinton. His debt funded two wars and a rise to health care stocks.

Biden's left with a mess, which of course, you'll blame him for. You plan to blame next year's budget fallout on Biden. Oh yes, you'll say, but Obama was in before Trump, so it's his fault, or Biden's wasted money on stimulous. You watch, you'll try every trick in the book to pretend your Dear Leader, Mr Trump, was not the most ineffective and destructive prez you've ever had, hands down.

But I'm curious. Why do you bother? What's in it for you?
