I don't think you understand what Godwin's law is, or you know and are just exploiting it to avoid the point that was being made.
Trump is not being compared to the Nazi's, the comparison is to Germany, today, and how they've dealt with their terrible history, vs Trump.
There is a difference.
You're comparing the southern states to the nazis to justify the erasure of history under the guise of BLM.
Trump - and Macron, interestingly - stood up to your Year Zero barbarism.
Hardly...
You're conflating statues with history, Germany is a great example of how to deal with a history the county isn't proud of.
Germany wouldn't have got to where they are today without the United States first defeating the Nazis and then assisting Germany to recover
Why are you making comparisons between Nazi Germany and the United States?
Good point. Why shouldn't we stick a few statues of Southern slave-traders over there? I'm surprised Mr Trump didn't raise it with Merkel in their last call.
They are still talking, aren't they?
Why are you conflating the US with Nazi Germany, lying, dishonest cockwomble Paki?
That's the Q. And it IS a Q, shity paky fvky.
Good Q, dear boy. Shity paky fvky.
Do you mind if I save this one for later?
Yeah, shove it up your khyber pass any time, Paki, you know you want to.
ALso, don't forget to address the question - highlighted.
The comparison was the US and their handling of their history with Germany and theirs.
There was no Nazi comparison.
You and your fellow tards are only making that claim to pretend you're the victims of Godwin's Law (surprise surprise, conservatives playing the victim again, snowflake need a safe space?) so you don't have to deal with the fact that removing statues, especially those that were erected with the purpose to send a very clear message to Black Americans at the time, doesn't erase history and the right thing to do would not have been to put them un in the first place as other countries have been smart enough to figure out, like Germany.
The Confederacy were traitors who were fighting against States right's when it came to making laws that protected slaves and their freedom. They are not worth honouring with statues, they are not worth admiration for their "bravery" and the racially charged messages the erections of their statues were purposed for, have no place in today's society.
And it's the same for their war flags.
You can bitch and moan all you like, but Germany has shown a great example of how you can deal with a past that has no place in today's world.
Just because you're looking for an out to avoid discussion doesn't make your claim valid.
