I will give you odds that America fragments before china does.
Hell Australia is less unified.
We have fragmented into sovereign states.
There are currently no secessionist movements in the US...
Unless you're confusing 'divide when we can, unite when we must' instincts of US citizenry with 'secession movements'... Even the left - right political divide in the US is a game Americans have always loved to play, mainly to demonstrate the exercising of their constitutional rights... Not to secede from the Union...
As for Australian secession... Please... Do you really have such little understanding of your own people? A nation that will not even break its ties to the British Monarchy
In China, the CCP needs to contend with:
Taiwan (which already runs as an independent state despite CCP rants to the contrary...
Hong Kong would secede in a second, given even half a chance...
Tibet, also, would secede (there are no Han Chinese in Tibet who can claim to be truly Tibetan)...
XinXiang would be out of China in a nanosecond, but not before, I'd bet, launching a terrorist war against their CCP murderers...
Inner Mongolia - There already exists an Inner Mongolian independence movement which argues for the "establishment of an independent Inner Mongolian state or the unification of Inner Mongolia with "Northern Mongolia"... So they're similar in regard to the Kurds fighting for an independent Kurdistan...
So apart from the desired secession of Taiwan, Hong Kong, Tibet, XinXiang, and Inner Mongolia (and god knows where else) what has China under the CCP got to lose?
