In one.

That is an accusation, with      ZERO, ZERO, ZERO evidence      to support such a view.

But that's OK.

Who needs evidence, to 'convict' a person ?

Not you,     ...and not bojack.

And, not any false accuser.

We've had the Chamberlain case. the Mallard case, the Rayney case, the Pell case...

Australian definitely has a taste for latter-day witch hunts. Thank 'god' we don't have the death penalty!

bobby,

Both cods and myself must live in regional areas [which have access to WIN TV].

But i see NON has provided you with a YT link, to the interview.

It was good, informative, imo.

And yes, it is scary how much, ignorant [and biased] 'witch-hunter-ry', is rife within modern, 'enlightened' Australia - and mostly, so rife, among those who always claim to be the 'tolerant-of-everyone' political LEFTISTS.

They are indeed so, so tolerant, but only of [only] those who share their own worldview [their own political biases].     /sarc off

And it is a bias and worldview,      FULL OF HUMAN EMOTIONS,      but where TRUTH and reason have no place.

Again I restate that your view is based on your confirmation bias. If this was a imam, you'd be falling over yourself to convict him based on one accuser.

Gnads,

I have lots, and lots of EVIDENCES, against ISLAM.

They are referenced within, and laid out for all to see,    ...in the precepts and in the doctrines of ISLAM and ISLAMIC law.

One miscreant imam would simply be a small      additional      component, to the mountains of EVIDENCES against the malevolence of ISLAM,
towards those who are not 'believers'.

malevolent = = wishing evil to others.

The malevolence of ISLAM ?    Start looking here !!!!

A few choice verses, from Allah, on how to treat non-moslems,

"Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued. "
Koran 9.29

"Thou wilt not find any people who believe in Allah and the Last Day, loving those who resist Allah and His Messenger, even though they were their fathers or their sons, or their brothers, or their kindred...."

What a surprise.

You may have evidence against Islam, but not against a particular imam.

Or on the other hand, on the basis of your "evidence" against Islam, being a supposed "history" of misdoings, if we then applied the same to Pell, and used that against him, he's definitely in jail.

bojack,

And YES, i acknowledge, that many men, while acting as members of the Catholic Church, have done terrible things, including the sexual abuse, of many vulnerable children.

And i do condemn all of, the sexual abuse of children, committed by persons using their position, with in the Catholic Church, to hide from accountability for those serious crimes.

But let those persons be convicted, in a court of law, being convicted because of the EVIDENCES [multiple] PRESENTED IN A COURT OF LAW, against them.

And of course
, let any moslem, be judged, upon the same evidences [multiple] being presented, against them.

Evasion of my question. You've tried and convicted our hypothetical imam on the basis of what Islam has or hasn't done. Why not applying same basis to Pell?

Australia is a nation whose laws, establish that ONE LAW [one system of JUSTICE], should apply to all men.

That ONE LAW, should apply to every accused person.

I have no argument [at all], against such a principle [of justice].

So to clarify, in the case of an imam with one accuser against him in a court of law, you'd be happy with an similar verdict to the Pell case.

Of course.

If there was no additional, no further substantiating, no further corroborating evidence, against him,
it would be very wrong, to convict him for a particular accused crime.

But if he had openly uttered a wish, if he had openly uttered an intention, to act unlawfully, and to harm others,
then he should be convicted, upon his own testimony,
THAT HE WOULD BE A DANGER, TO THE WIDER COMMUNITY, AND A DANGER, TO THOSE IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO HIS PERSON.

Is that position, very unreasonable of me ?

In your opinion ?
