In case anyone hasn't picked up on this logic, Social Distancing is an effective way of limiting contagious disease. I have no sympathy for dimwits who, by their ignorance or contempt, endanger the rest of us. And just for those who think the situation is not that serious, I suggest you Google the mathematical models for Covid19's effect without restrictions. The numbers are staggering. The health system would collapse, and the whingers would be demanding something was done about it, as they watched friends and loved ones die. No society would be able to maintain order.

What do the mathematical models tell you about catching the virus from beach sand?

People's personal space tends to automatically increase when they get to the beach. It's the last place you need to be policing.

for Australians yes, personal space is different though depending on which country you live in/come from. Many Europeans and Asians idea of personal space is far smaller than ours no doubt due to high population density in their cities. You can make this observation anywhere including the beach and the supermarket.  The biggest problem in this country at the moment with people breaching social distancing although the government wont admit it is from Asians and Europeans.

None of the photos I have seen clearly show people abandoning social distancing rules. They merely show the inability of the pantwetters on the forum to understand how photos of open spaces work. Like when they tried to tell me they could measure the distance between people in a photo when they were only 3 pixels high because they were in the distant background.

how can you tell? After all, wasn't it YOUR argument that you can't tell the distance they are apart in those photos?

Were you lying then? or are you lying now?

I can tell by looking at them. Did you read what you were responding to before posting?

Lots of people at beaches.
Well, people in Regional areas are getting out and about.

Filthy infected City people aren't as 'out-doorsy' as Regional people.  Grin Grin Grin

Seems to me you're proving your own argument is a load of bollocks.
you can tell the distances between people in the photo but no one else can. Are you special fd?
