The whole premise of paying taxes is supposedly so that the grubberment can 1 build infrastructure 2 prevent other nations from invading us 3 assist citizens in time of need 4 provide a police force to protect us.
But our grubberment have failed in all of these requirements. Infrastructure is ridiculously behind the growing population. We need DESPERATLY dams, public transport, power , schools and hospitals.
As for preventing other nations from invading us. It's really a bit of a joke. They have cut funding to the bone, our weaponry is pathetic and as we no longer build our own vehicles and rely on other countries for fuel, we are screwed anyway. Then the morons take away guns from law abiding citizens who could and do fight in an invasion.
As for assisting people in times of need. Our grubberment woukd rather waste billions on looking after other countries before our own. And they waste money at home on pointless exercises in "bridging gaps" that are only tgere because one group are too damn lazy to get off their arses and work.
Finally, our police force. Per capita, our grubberment have reduced our police force to a fraction of what is needed. Most of them are nothing more than revenue collectors. The close out of minor crimes barely reach 10%, meaning that 90% of crime goes unpunished. The close out for assault and murder isn't all that much better. But, on the other hand, fine collection is up around the 95% mark. It's easy to see the grubberments agenda, isn't it?
Our senior public servants are overpaid and overcompensated. Our politicians have their noses so deeply buried that they only worry about themselves. Criminals run riot, especially if they are protected species DARKIES or immigrants. Meanwhile you and I pay some of the highest taxes in the world when you take grab, snatch and take into account.
We are being raped by our grubberment, criminals, multinationals and other nations.
Again I ask, why are we paying taxes. We would be little worse off without these parasites at all.
