26th Jan is just fine...... you can choose to be 'triggered' by it for eternity or you can choose to get on with the real issues...

All you Whiteys out there today demonstrating - got your pens ready to hand over your hard-earned property and that of your parents and grand-parents.  I'm sure they'll all be happy to contribute to the Cause...

26th Jan was scarcely an issue for over a hundred years - then some bright spark got on to the idea of making it a complaint day... how about a bit of respect for the majority out there who want to enjoy it and celebrate it, if they choose?

You can choose to be part of the nation, or you can choose to not be - Choice-Mobile, that's the game, son.. but if you choose not to be - you leave others alone to go their peaceful way.

NONE of the people today ever killed off an Aboriginal etc..... or did anything at all to them.. EVER!  Even your so-called 'white supremacists' (as compared to Black/Gay/Feminist Supremacists etc) has gone out to persecute a Black .... it's all been the other way..... to date.  Time to call a halt and put a stop to it.

Do we have DNA on the British explorers who wrote the journals about what they observed?  Some believed in Divine Providence for British gunpowder. Others sang about Jesus walking in their green and pleasant land. How can you accept the Magna Carta and Parliament from scammers like that?

If your DNA doesn't match - you're not Indigenous... even part-timers are called 'the other white meat' ...... get with the program....

Poor Bruce is feeling 'hurt' about the furore he created, at a time when he's been fighting bushfires - cry me a river.. look at the bullshit trouble he's created with his fantasy rendition of history...... he did it for the attention, now he's got it, and so he whines about it. Roll Eyes

Now it's to be force fed to school kids who cannot differentiate yet between fact and fiction, and they will all grow up believing that there was this Golden Age idyll of agriculture, aquaculture, storage and transport and trade, highways, cities and so forth, overturned by vicious White men... when the reality was a nomadic unbalanced diet rough living lifestyle with an early death and massive infant mortality rate etc, and people living in small groups who sometimes clashed over land or free passage (Freedom Of The Plains).

Jeez - highways past followed the lay of the land - so would any wandering group - it's nothing special to say the highways followed the known traditional routes.... they didn't build mega overpasses and river crossings then..... they generally chose the line of least resistance...

Nahhh, those earnest whiteys demonstrating are not about to hand anything over, they are in it for the look at me thrills, the money shot of despite entitlement, expunging self loathing guilt by feeling so worthy and just so gosh darn it good.

It’s a  collective slap on the back of congratulations  and self praise at being so worthy and woke.

Apparently Australia was "invaded" by -

▪11 ships - no larger than a Manly ferry.
▪1480 men, women and children onboard. 775 convicts (582 men and 193 women), as well as officers, marines, their wives and children, and provisions and agricultural implements. After 43 convicts had died during the eight-month trip, 732 landed.
▪most were British, there were also African, American and French convicts.
▪the youngest female convict was 14.
▪the youngest male convict was 9.
▪the NSW Marine Corps Detachment consisted of approximately 20 Officers, 24 NCO’s and 168 men under the command of Major Robert Ross. A total if 205 military men!
There were also
▪18 turkeys, 29 geese, 35 ducks, 122 fowls, 87 chickens, kittens, puppies, 4 mares, 2 stallions, 4 cows, 1 bull, 44 sheep, 19 goats, 32 hogs, 5 rabbits, as well as Governor Phillips’ greyhounds, and Rev. Johnson’s cats.

And they managed to invade the whole of Australia. Shocked

Even this pathetic collection of white people.
Sick and abused as They were
As unfamiliar with their new surroundings as any one could be.

But still, this rag tag bunch of whites.
Invaded and took over an entire continent with no effort what so ever.

No wonder the abbos are so pissed.
The are pathetic losers, big time.
Too lazy, to primitive and to apathetic to fight for their lands.

Even now, they let others do the fighting for them
They would rather sit on their arses and do what they do best.......nuffink

No it wasn't.  It was the founding of New South Wales as a colony.

Which led inevitably to other states and then inevitably to Australia as a nation. Roll Eyes

Long afterwards and not connected to the original event...  It is NSW's special day, leave it to them.

Nope. It was a declaration of Federation of states to form a Commonwealth.

But perhaps you have a link showing Australia was founded in 1901? Wink

The founding of Australia as a nation occurred on 1 January 1901.  Before that, it was six individual colonies.    Roll Eyes

Only a real fool, once asked, can't provide that reference, should it exist. Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

The USA had founding Fathers after the war of independence.

26th January adopted by common consent of all relevant parties... now don't get me started on the US Civil War and Secession etc and State's Rights... a nation once joined cannot be undone.. a house divided against itself cannot stand... a State within a State cannot be left to go its own way...

I just love the way he stirred up a merdestorm with an artistic re-rendering of history, and when the Inevitable™ backlash to such nonsense arrives - he starts playing the victim card.

If he was so strongly supported in his views - why would he need to feel affronted or hurt?   Colonel?

"I said.."

"No - you said "Pascoe based his views on reports etc, and those reports are always followed..."... so why did Pascoe have to be removed from civilised society if he was so right... Colonel?  Why did he need to be protected from hurt by criticism?"

(silence on the stand)...

"There was no transfer of fact and there was no 6am flight of reality, was there, Colonel... Pascoe was going nowhere... his book was a farce, and no way was anyone going to be allowed off base to refute it... isn't that right, Colonel! I WANT THE TRUTH!  DID YOU ORDER A CODE REDBOOK FOR PASCOE'S RAVINGS??"

'YOU'RE DAMNED RIGHT I DID - AND I'D DO IT AGAIN!"
