Aboriginal history should be open to all.

Even the bit where they wiped out the FIRST AUSTRALIANS.

There is little in their culture worth mentioning

No great exploration
No great wars
No great architectural advances or monuments.
No great advances in technology or healing.
Not even the ability to lash a rock to a stick.

A few primitive splattering on a few cave walls that's about it.

Their sacred sites are nothing more than rocks that they didn't even stack together.
A few caves, and a few dumps where they discarded the empties of their feasts.

They have had 200 years to get with the program.
200 years to become civilized.
200 years to be more than primitives.

But Lazyness is ingrained
Its genetic, they will never improve.

Gradually it's being bread out of them as they mix with whites and become more and more white.

Perhaps one day the number of employed abbos will be equal to the number of bludgers.

I don't think the world will ever see the majority of abbos working.

And with the sychophants and virtue signallers continually telling them it's ok to be a parasite,
Or telling them it's their land and we owe them,
Will do little to advance them.

I'm not saying they SHOUKD forget their past.
Simply that they should advance or be left behind.

They have no respect for themselves
So why should we respect them?

It's  not their skin colour. It's  their stagnation.

Aboriginese 300 years ago are exactly the same as aboriginese 20, 30, 40 thousand years ago.

Stone age with no noticable DEVELOPMENT. Stunted, stagnant. I do not want any advice, guidance from such people and I don't  particularly respect their ability to go through time without any noticable improvement. Not something I would want to emulate, recommend or respect. Staying Stone age forever is not a positive. And then endlessly bellyache about not being allowed to remain stone age while demandind all the benefits of modernity is downright hypocritical and venal.

"Calls for the state of Victoria to be RENAMED because it honours a Queen who 'caused harm and murdered people'

Lidia Thorpe thinks Victoria should be renamed over ties with Queen Victoria
The indigenous former MP said a rename should be considered in treaty talks
Statues linked to Australia's colonial past have been protested and vandalised
It follows a global movement from the Black Lives Matter equality protests
More than 12,000 people signed a petition for Cairns Captain Cook statue to go
Campaigners claim the statue is a 'slap in the face' to indigenous Australians

An Aboriginal activist and former MP wants the state of Victoria to change its name under a new treaty with Australia's First People.

Lidia Thorpe, who represented the Greens in the Victorian Legislative Assembly in 2017 and 2018, is calling for the change because the state is named after British Empire ruler Queen Victoria.

'Anything that's named after someone who's caused harm or murdered people, then I think we should take their name down,' she told The Herald Sun.

Ms Thorpe, the first Aboriginal woman to be elected to the Parliament of Victoria, believes Indigenous groups and the state government should consider the idea during treaty talks.

Her comments come as Black Lives Matter protests spark calls to tear down monuments linked to Australia's colonial past across the country.

City of Melbourne councillor Nicholas Reece said monuments dedicated to Melbourne co-founder John Batman could be up for review through his hand in hunting Aborigines in Tasmania.

'There's a number of monuments and statues to John Batman in Melbourne, and I think there's a case to be made around perhaps them being given a less prominent place in our city,' he told 3AW.

A 50-year-old statue of Captain Cook in Cairns is under threat after activists petitioned for it to be torn down over the British Royal Navy captain's treatment of Aboriginal people when his ship landed in Australia.

The petition claims the statue is a 'slap in the face to all indigenous people', saying Cook's legacy was one of 'forced removal, slavery, genocide and stolen land'.

Two other statues of the explorer, both in Sydney, have already been defaced as Black Lives Matter protests shine a light on racial inequality.

There are growing calls for statues of Cook to be removed, though Prime Minister Scott Morrison has defended the explorer's legacy and controversially declared there was 'no slavery in Australia' - a comment he has since apologised for.

The petition for the Cairns statue to be removed, signed by more than 12,000 people as of Tuesday morning, reads: 'Since 1972, the James Cook statue on Sheridan Street has stood as a symbol of colonialism and genocide.

'It's a slap in the face to all indigenous people.

'For us it represents dispossession, forced removal, slavery, genocide, stolen land, and loss of culture - among many other things.

'I am calling on Cairns Regional Council and Cairns Mayor Mr Bob Manning to take action today and remove this statue. This would be a huge step forward in uniting the community and honouring our First Nation's people.

'I also call on non-indigenous Australians to stand with us. The #BlackLivesMatter movement is as urgent here on your own doorsteps as it is on the streets of Minneapolis.

'For you to demand the removal of this offensive and outdated statue shows your willingness to look Australia's ugly history right in the eye, and say no more.'

Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton told 9News he wants the statues to stay."

Anyway - read the rest for yourself... well-fed out of the public purse tail trying to wag the dog again..

You mistakenly keep referring to them as STONE AGE.

This is quite untrue.

They were PRE-STONE AGE when found.
Unable to lash a stick to a stone.

Even that simple concept was beyond them.
They hunted with a sharpened stick
Had no manufactured tools made of stone.

Yes they used rocks to hit and scrape things.
But true stone age must actually manufacture tools from the joining of sticks to stones and working the stones into tools.
Something our aborigines had never remastered .

Even apes can and do use sticks to access floor, some birds and animals the same.
The sea otter used rocks to smash open crabs shells.

So there is a definite huge jump in technology between PRE AND STONE AGE.

And our poor old abbos never made that jump.

Might have known it was that halfbaked malcontent Lydia Thorpe. Roll Eyes

The whole suggestion needs to be treated with the contempt it deserves.

She needs to give up all her non Aboriginal mod cons & get out into the wilderness and live the tribal life or STFU.

As I said ...... some people have gone full retard with this shyte.

"Whitey", as you so dismissively call them did make many mistakes less than 200 years ago.  I am attempting to get people like Hammer/Gnads/etc. to admit to them.  They continue those mistakes by dismissing Indigenous Australian culture and settlement patterns.  They dismiss what Indigenous Australians did achieve with a wave their hands.  You are dismissing it as well, Cods by questioning the results of research undertaken by numerous archeologists, historians and researchers, like Pascoe. People who are attempting to correct the mistakes and myths created by "Whitey" since colonisation.  Tsk, tsk

rubbish   you are the one who is dismissive  YAWN...and your tsk tsk.. what do you think others think of that???

I guess you dont care anyway..

Hopefully it indicates my annoyance with bullshit, Cods.  What does it indicate to you?

Quote:
but the term whitey means anyone who doesnt claim aboriginality....like me..

The term "whitey" shows contempt and it is not one I use, Cods.  You keep trying to erect strawman arguments.  Why?

WE KNOW YOU USE ISLAMPHOBE AND RACISTS TO YOUR HEARTS CONTENT instead.
.
Quote:
sorry my dear but I dont consider Pascoe an aboriginal or a researcher...

I don't care what "race" he claims.  He has undertaken considerable research.  Far more than you or I, Cods.  Roll Eyes

which has no bearing on other researchers findings.. because HES MADE IT UP.
.
Quote:
he imo will be exposed down the track....and he is doing more harm to aboriginals  with his claims.....instead of wanting everyone to feel sorry for them...he would do them a favour by educating them into bring their children up to be productive citz instead of alcoholics...  or help prevent DV....  which is very well documented in their communities....and which they want whitey to mind his own business.... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Their children will be productive, if White fellas like Gnads/Hammer/Graps/you allow them to be and don't judge them more harshly than you judge White people in similar circumstances, Cods.  Roll Eyes

Quote:
WHITE SOCIETIES DO NOT WHINGE WHEN CHILDREN ARE REMOVED FROM VILE ADULTS WHO THINK SEXUALLY ABUSING CHILDREN IS OK.
.
you see they cant have a bet each way...and they should stop living in the past...which people like you encourage them to do.....I dont see skin colour  I see actions....and I judge by them.....I am a great believer in god helps those who help themselves.... and if I had anything to do with them   thats what I would set them to do....

help yourself.. surprise yourself...

They are attempting to have their "past" recognised by white society, Cods.  You dismissal of it shows you don't give them the same respect you demand for your own ancestry.   I wonder why?  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

what respect do they deserve bri?...the fact they want to change history.. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes all they do is "demand"  there is never any suggestion of what changes we can expect you cant respect people who do not help themselves
..

Well it's used by many Aboriginals ..... & a lot of the time prefixed by Capt. Cook & post fixed by c*#t.

And you have a problem with that?  Why?  Roll Eyes

Quote:
They need to resist rewritting history in trying to have their past recognised.

They need history rewritten to recognise the efforts of their ancestors, Gnads.  You resist it because you don't like the truth being on display it seems.  Roll Eyes

Quote:
Their children are judged no more harshly than anyone elses in similar circumstance ..... and they won't become productive believing that white people owe them everything just because they have Aboriginal blood.

Sounds like you're suffering from the Politics of Jealousy, Gnads.  Unwilling to acknowledge the wrongs of the past, hey?
Quote:
People like you acquiescing to that mindset are part of the problem .... just like the Democrats are the problem for blacks in the USA.

The problem for everybody is your Racism.  Tsk, tsk.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

and you bri bri are suffering from guilt and Political correctness......all of which is keeping these people in the past instead of the future... it suits people like you to keep babying them to encourage the dependence on another group for their very existence..its like keeping a 15 yr old teenager in nappies....

your not helping them your helping yourself.. Angry

No the problem is yours.... you don't speak for "everybody".

Why would you think calling people unprovoked Capt Cook white c*#ts is acceptable? It's racism.

You're the one who won't accept the truth & there's a difference between rewriting history & acknowledging the wrongs of the past.

You as a typical lefty encourage the mentality of victimhood & owed entitlement.

It's all about the money for nothing, pay the rent..

virtue signalling SJWs like you are the ones keeping Aboriginals in poverty & the cycle of dependency.

Neither does Bruce Pascoe - ask his 'tribe' .... he speaks for Bruce Pascoe - thanks for coming, Bruce - there are thousands lined up behind you waiting to offer their views... but just like the 'feminists' taught you - steal the 'narrative', and nobody else gets a say...

Now he's a sacrosanct 'professor' of Sydney Higher Institute Of Technology* (poo) (aka some 'university'), and nobody can challenge the words of the Delphic Oracle professor... appearance money on the ABC to spruik his myths... book royalties....

Farken L ..... make up a trendy yarn and my god how the money rolls in...  Roll Eyes

Igor, my son - we've missed our vocation.... now go find me a good BS yarn to make up.....

* and you wonder why 'academics' are becoming as much on the nose as politicians.. every idiocy under the sun has a professorship attached to it...... oh, well - Southern Cross University dumped 600 courses .. all the POO will go out the window leaving the core.. down to the bare bones again and they might learn something of use outside a smoke-filled room smelling of cheap wine and whining......
