Having done Taxi, I have heard nothing but support for Pascoe's efforts from the locals who call themselves Aboriginal. 'Yuin' might know this one day.

You're right. White Americans are 'indigenous' to their lands and they shed their own blood on their soil to 'Earn it' too.
When the First Americans now say they are 'Native' American, they still 'reject' other peoples as having 'Native' title... which is why they still come off 2ND best and cry Culturalism, like AFRICAN-Americans crying Racism.

You are indigenous, I am indigenous, Pascoe is indigenous.
But in a Multi-Cultural Australia that has two nations on its Flag and runs with two other 'nations' at Ceremony. We choose if we are British, Aboriginal, American, Torres-Strait Islander or from the Kingdom of Hutt.

I think this type of understanding is what Pascoe is about.
I may even ask him, when I meet him - to attend to this Forum and even this Topic.

Monash University is now conducting a major Survey on the POSITIVES of our experiences in Social Isolation, as well as the Negatives. I think some of you members should take the Survey and see how better it is to take in 'Both' aspects of the 'Australian' experience. Wink

"Mr Pascoe, are you indigenous in that your ancestors were Koori or are you indigenous in the way that internet trolls like Mr Hammer use the word? Because, if it's the latter, don't you find that disrespectful? Mr Hammer does, but he's just an internet troll; and not a prized historian and academic".

If Pascoe is getting flak from an Aboriginal quarter.
Then those Aboriginals are just like the ones who called boxer Daniel Geale an 'Uncle Tom' when he fought Mundine.

It's not about Pascoe. For Pascoe wants it all about what's in the Books and all the historical documents and archeology that are seeing the light again.
Attacks on Pascoe are just 'political', with no substantial evidence against what has been uncovered and published.
