why does it matter?? as long as they come in with our invitation.. not everyone is BAD hammer....strewth we have sent a few misfit poms back where they came from as well...does that make every ex pat a mongrel?

I never said it was wrong. I'm just saying that's where most recent immigration comes from. My only question is how well these people are integrating. In Sydney where I live it makes me wonder. Most Indians knock around Indians. I hate the idea of little countries popping up inside our country.

I do get that..... but it takes years and years in the mean time we get more migrants this country was built by MIGRANTS from all over we shouldnt forget that in those days they came with nothing just what was on their backs....scarey... lets be proud of what they and us achieved look on the positives rather than negatives.....if you lived in India you would I am sure seek out white people as you have more in common with them......its a human thing not an Indian thing...

Australia's Indian population is nearly 600,000. There's been a massive influx. Most of the recent imigrants Australia is getting are from the third world. Refugee intake and immigration. It's just a fact.

why does it matter?? as long as they come in with our invitation.. not everyone is BAD hammer....strewth we have sent a few misfit poms back where they came from as well...does that make every ex pat a mongrel?

I never said it was wrong. I'm just saying that's where most recent immigration comes from. My only question is how well these people are integrating. In Sydney where I live it makes me wonder. Most Indians knock around Indians. I hate the idea of little countries popping up inside our country.

I do get that..... but it takes years and years in the mean time we get more migrants this country was built by MIGRANTS from all over we shouldnt forget that in those days they came with nothing just what was on their backs....scarey... lets be proud of what they and us achieved look on the positives rather than negatives.....if you lived in India you would I am sure seek out white people as you have more in common with them......its a human thing not an Indian thing...

I would like to believe us aussies have more empathy for people who have left their natural surrounding and come here......its not easy in the beginning hammer...
