Look, people warm to a good bullshitartist, it's charismatic.

I think it's a smart move. Neitzsche recommended it. He loved a good porkie as much as the chodes.

you are a bigger BS artist then donald.
you said neitzhe said "good is dead and we are now liberated".

that is the exact opposite of what he said ....

God is dead. God remains dead. And we have killed him. Yet his shadow still looms. How shall we comfort ourselves, the murderers of all murderers? What was holiest and mightiest of all that the world has yet owned has bled to death under our knives; who will wipe this blood off us? What water is there for us to clean ourselves?

Now now, dear, I can at least spell his name.

Neitzsche is having a chuckle in the above quote, as every schoolboy knows.

Can you explain how he answered his question?

fred said that , now that we had dispensed with the idea of god, we would have to manufacture our own belief systems.

because you need a belief system or you are overwhelmed with complexity.

he predicted we would have one system based on our resentment of the rich (the marxist system) and one system based on our demand for order (the authoritarian / fascist system).

and so he correctly predicted soviet russia and nazi germany.

and we dont appear to have learnt from our mistakes as we are still divided into marixst democrats and authoritarian strong men.

you and the intellectual left think that if you dont give people a belief system, if you just have a nanny state where their needs are met by a large government, then they will be "good people" and they will be "happy".

this is clearly untrue.
they just become eternally infantalised toddlers.
who scream when they dont get their way.
who cannot confront anything that challenges them

the sort of people who scream at the sky when they see a monster like the donald  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

fred would have predicted the future existence of this woman and millions like her

So if there was a bribe, why hasn't there been an investigation by the Ukraine into the matter?

Use some common sense!

To continue with the fantasy. If there was a bribe, Trump was well within his rights to withhold money to a country as corrupt as the Ukraine.

Just a beet up! Find anything for an impeachment and if you can't - invent one!

Quote:
Trump was well within his rights to withhold money to a country as corrupt as the Ukraine.

???? The Ukraine leader has been fighting against Corruption - Donald Trump has been engaging in it ????

Actually I would refer you to post 464 on the matter.

To sum it up:

1) Trump was advised that it would be illegal to withhold the payment.
2) The block was put in place by Trump 90 minutes after the phone call with the Ukraine President
3) There is an official process to do this if it is necessary by working with the house if there is a legitimate reason.
4) There was direction from the white house to keep this process on the quiet when the senate should have been told.

Quote:
withhold money to a country as corrupt as the Ukraine.

They seem to be much less corrupt than the Trump White House.

There is advice about throwing stones when you live in a glass White House or something.

Was there a Liar Lawyer representing Trump who didn't tell a number of direct lies of known fact ?

This has to make it difficult for the Republican Senators when their legal team is just taking the P1ss.

They will not be able to claim that they have done impartial justice, that there is no case for witnesses and documentation or that they have a shred of integrity remaining if they continue to support Trump in this. They really should throw Trump under the bus for this, he is treating them with contempt - he is throwing them under a bus.

Republican senators will have to live with the shame of this for the rest of their lives.

Trump's Legal team is treating republican senators with contempt by expecting them to support their lies, part truths and incompetent defence.

Once again they are going for 30 second fake Fox Media sound bites with no regard to the truth and no respect for the senate, the impeachment case or the constitution.

The facts will continue to leak out and they will all look bad for Trump forever. History will treat Trump like a leper and his senate will share a much worse fate in the long term. There is nothing positive in spineless, corrupt dishonest in breach of their oath to both the constitution and the impeachment hearing. Their children grandchildren and great grandchildren will be ashamed.

It will never again be possible to hold a President to account no matter what they do.

Every man and his dog has said that Trump will not be removed from office by the senate.

So, not sure what you're talking about really.

From the beginning everyone said that he would:

a) be impeached (and he has), and

b) he would not be removed from office.

Who is it that said his impeachment would result in the end of his presidency?

I'm curious.

Funny that in many cases the same Republicans who thought that a BJ was impeachable see no problem with running an extortion ring out of the Oval Office with a Presiden known to brag about sexually assaulting women.

Who makes the Dems press on with this systematic discreditation of themselves?

Vlad? O'Bama? Hill & Bill? Pochahontas (1/1024th)? Bern? Soros? Greta? Who?

Not wasted at all.

Donald Trump -the alleged child rapist - will go down in history as an impeached President.

That's a good outcome   Smiley

The more pressure on thump in this the less likely that he will continue to do it.

I think the Democrats missed an opportunity in their negotiation for witnesses and documents with the new information included. They could easily have threatened to re impeach to get all these concessions in the House and then really do it as there is still plenty of appropriate charges available. They were crazy for not impeaching over obstruction from the Muller report just for a start, the charge that his mate went to prison and Trump is the co defendant.

Yes Trump really is unfit for office - always was right from day one of his campaign.
