That video is hilarious.

When they mention the Clinton impeachment trial, they show a photo of Hillary Clinton, not Bill.  Twice!

The people who made that video think that Hillary Clinton has been impeached.

You have to wonder where the right get these dumb video clips and then wonder more about why they choose to embarrass themselves by posting them.

Far from ending Pelosi's fantasy she does not have the fantasy he refers to but he has once again outed himself as Trump's corrupt bitch willing to misuse his political position to participate in Trump's coverup.

Announcing his intention to breach a solemn oath he is yet to take shows all that is needed about the man's   McConnells character or more so the lack of.

I pissed myself laughing.

Not once, but TWICE they showed Hillary when discussing the Clinton impeachment trial.

The people who put that video together have no idea that it was Bill who was impeached.

Hell, I bet they don't even know that Bill Clinton was once the president.

UPDATE: Senator Josh Hawley and Senate Republicans Give Pelosi Until Sunday Jan. 12 to Turn Over Impeachment Documents or Face Dismissal

by Jim Hoft January 6, 2020 273 Comments

...

Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) announced on Friday if Democrats DO NOT deliver their articles of impeachment to the US Senate as is required by the US Constitution he will introduce a measure to dismiss Pelosi’s slapdash articles of impeachment on Monday January 6th.
Nancy Pelosi was on notice
She had three days to decide but did not act.

Senator Hawley, the former Attorney General in Missouri, tweeted this warning out on Thursday.

Senator Josh Hawley: Dems said impeachment was URGENT. Now they don’t want to have a trial, because they have no evidence. In real world, if prosecution doesn’t proceed with case, it gets dismissed. So on Monday, I will introduce measure to dismiss this bogus impeachment for lack of prosecution. This will expose Dems’ circus for what it is: a fake impeachment, abuse of the Constitution, based on no evidence. If Dems won’t proceed with trial, bogus articles should be dismissed and @realDonaldTrump fully cleared.

On Monday Senator Hawley came through on his promise and introduced the resolution to allow dismissal of the “bogus impeachment” against President Trump.
The resolution gives Speaker Pelosi 25 days to turn over the Articles of Impeachment or face dismissal of the charges.
That means Pelosi has until Sunday January 25th to turn over the documents.

Senator Hawley today thanked his fellow Republican senators for supporting the measure:

It’s time to challenge Nancy Pelosi’s assault on the Constitution. Today I’m introducing a change to the Senate rules to force Pelosi & the Dems to send the Senate the impeachment articles for trial - or have them dismissed

I told you that as soon as I looked at the wording in the constitution. Why listen to this idiot who has no idea what he is talking about on this topic and is flat out wrong or lying about other things.

This B J Wanker or whatever his name is even missed out on telling you about one of the most critical problems with running the senate trial without the papers, the reason that they are not allowed to do it.

I suspect he didn't tell you because he doesn't know what he is talking about - though that normally doesn't stop him with other things.

Good old H R puff N Stuff does not know that Senate rules make it essential for the papers to be received by the senate before an trial can take place. The senate can change those rules but it is a time consuming process.

As usual you did not read the article sited in Politico ..

https://www.politico.com/newsletters/playbook/2020/01/02/why-holding-the-impeach...

Try and read then comment , you will look less foolish and ignorant ,

Yet either way be at peace  Smiley

Digging the hole deeper does not assist your cause - Having 2 sources that left out or do not know that the senate has its own rules makes the error or omission no better. Here is the senate Rules that also need bo considered.

Fact is that the senate have their own rules which are dependant on the house delivering the impeachment articles to allow a trial to commence. They can change this given time and effort.

You were wrong before - now you are more wrong.

Quote:
RULES OF PROCEDURE AND PRACTICE IN
THE SENATE WHEN SITTING ON IMPEACHMENT TRIALS

[Revised pursuant to S. Res. 479, 99–2, Aug. 16, 1986]

I.
Whensoever the Senate shall receive notice from the 170
House of Representatives that managers are appointed on their part to conduct an impeachment against any person and are directed to carry articles of impeachment to the Senate, the Secretary of the Senate shall immediately inform the House of Representatives that the Senate is ready to receive the managers for the purpose of exhibiting such articles of impeachment,
agreeably to such notice........

III. Upon such articles being presented to the Senate, 172 the Senate shall, at 1 o’clock afternoon of the day (Sunday excepted) following such presentation, or sooner if ordered by the Senate, proceed to the consideration of such articles and shall continue in session from day to day (Sundays
excepted) after the trial shall commence
(unless otherwise ordered by the Senate) until final judgment shall be rendered, and so much longer as may, in its judgment, be needful. Before proceeding to the consideration of the articles of impeachment

This scribble is saved and will be rubbed in your face very soon  Smiley

McConnell backs changing Senate rules over Pelosi impeachment delay

Zachary BasuJan 10, 2020

...
Photo: Mark Wilson/Getty Images
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has signed onto a resolution by Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) seeking to change the rules of the Senate to dismiss articles of impeachment if they are not transmitted within 25 days of their approval — in this case, Jan. 12.

Why it matters: The constitutionality of such a move, which 12 other co-sponsors have signed onto, is not clear. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi reiterated on Thursday that she is waiting to see what the Senate trial will look like before she names impeachment managers and transmits the articles.

McConnell has said he has the GOP votes to approve a resolution on trial rules without support from Democrats, and he has repeatedly criticized Pelosi for attempting to interfere with the Senate process.
The Senate would require a two-thirds majority in order to change the rules, unless McConnell were to invoke the "nuclear option" and decide the issue by a simple majority vote.
Between the lines: A senior Democratic aide told Axios last week that aside from the procedural and constitutional questions it raises, Hawley's resolution would likely be politically damaging for moderate Republicans — noting that polling shows a majority of Americans want Trump to let his top aides testify in the Senate trial.

Well here we are and all the Lights bull shite has proven false again.

Next week the impeachment papers will be sent to the senate.

McConnell having trashed his own integrity will never again be elected and may well continue with his sham trial, it could even be appealed at the high court.

The only real question is how many dishonest republican senators will McConnell take down with him.
