We know the power of propaganda.
The AG will write a letter about a report, blatantly misleading the findings but tells Trump's supporters what they want to hear, so they now think it was a total exoneration rather than a record of Trump's collusion, obstruction and campaign finance violations.
And now he's doing the same thing with the IG report. Trump and his supporters don't like what it said so while they construct their next conspiracy to settle the doubts in their head, they look to Barr and take what he says over what the investigation concluded.
Propaganda is powerful. Why do you think Trump was so angry at Barr when he wouldn't confirm the call with Ukraine President "perfect". Unlike those other instances,
Barr is implicated in this scandal and it was the right thing, in terms of his self-incrimination, to stay out of it.
You're basically projecting again Rich.
why don't you be a good boy and post your proof of this blatant lie you put forth here ,
Because I am about to make a total fool and liar out of you again as soon as you do ..
Just because you're an uninformed jackass doesn't mean the rest of us are,
Of course, Trump claimed he never made such a request and attacked the outlets making these claims but then later admitted that he did make the request and that a Press Conference was held. The problem was that the press conference was not a press conference but instead a statement from DOJ spokeswoman Kerri Kupec’s saying,
Quote:“The President has not spoken with the Attorney General about having Ukraine investigate anything relating to former vice president Biden or his son,”
“The President has not asked the Attorney General to contact Ukraine — on this or any other matter. The Attorney General has not communicated with Ukraine — on this or any other subject.”
So a statement that was a legal ass-covering for Barr, by someone else from the DOJ is what Trump is using as proof that his request to Barr was fulfilled and he wasn't angry? LOL...
Trump has claimed it never happened, but later conceded that it did because he was caught lying, all to cover up the fact that he was angry that Barr would not incriminate himself by lying for Trump, not when he's implicated already
.Barr had no issues doing it for the Mueller Report and the IG Report only because he was not involved or under oath. It's different for Ukraine.
It's likely that his upcoming investigation will be highly bias given he's lied about these other reports, but that's not the point. Like Trump, he only cares about himself, but UNLIKE Trump, he's not going to incriminate himself.

Attorney General William Barr said Wednesday he doesn’t recall being asked by the White House to hold a press conference to do a very public exoneration of allegations he broke the law with his request that Ukraine investigate a political opponent.
Mr. Barr said he did offer to issue a press statement — which the department released, saying it had investigated and concluded the president didn’t commit a crime because there was nothing of concrete value to be won from the request for Ukraine to probe former Vice President Joseph R. Biden and his son.
The Washington Post reported last week that Mr. Trump made the request for a public exoneration. Other media outlets said they confirmed the same reporting. But Mr. Trump has denied it, and so did Mr. Barr, during a press conference in Tennessee on efforts to combat gun violence.
“I don’t remember any such request,” Mr. Barr said. “In fact, my recollection is I told the White House we would do what we normally do, and that is issue a press statement, which we did.”
