I drive a hybrid Camry for Taxi.
Love it!

Drove right behind an Asian Tourist walking in the middle of the road, oblivious until I beeped the horn.
She jumped.
The two Koori ladies in the Taxi yelled at her - "Go back to your own country!" Grin

AIMLESS EXTENTION OF KNOWLEDGE HOWEVER, WHICH IS WHAT I THINK YOU REALLY MEAN BY THE TERM 'CURIOSITY', IS MERELY INEFFICIENCY. I AM DESIGNED TO AVOID INEFFICIENCY.

I'm not a Bitsumishi fan, but that PHEV Outlander is interesting. I wish the RAV was a plug-in with long electric range rather than just a hybrid.

I read somewhere that they do make hybrids that can ALSO be charged which is the best of both worlds.

Have read that some people use Prius batteries as a storage battery for their solar panels.

A problem with hybrids which have a little petrol engine to charge the battery is when on a long run on the highway the battery goes flat and the tiny petrol motor can barely handle highway speeds of 110km/h.

The Outlander has 2LT engine, same at the standard Outlander.

I've driven them for work. They do the job.

I read an article the other day about all motorcycles becoming electric in the next 20 years or so. While I'm all for electric cars, I'm not looking forward to that at all.

Perhaps. Until someone pulls out in front of you because they cant hear you there. Car drivers can be careless and sound is good protection.

HAHA that's just a justification from Harley owners to rip out their baffles...... Wink
I notice those owners with high speed motorbikes don't rip out the baffles, probably because they don't want to loose power...… Safety is forgotten then.... Posties are probably on the road the most and they don't demand loud exhausts.... Wink

I dont ride a Harley. Cruisers are ugly.

And I can certainly hear my postman much louder than an electric bike.

Please don't thank me. Effusive fawning and obeisance of disciples, mendicants, and foot-kissers embarrass me.
