Democratic National Committee Communications Director Xochitl Hinojosa said the party is not “officially nominating Joe Biden.”

During a Thursday appearance on Fox News, Hinojosa told anchor Bill Hemmer that the party must hold its convention because of its plans to not endorse the former vice president.

“First of all, our convention has to happen, because we are not officially nominating Joe Biden in order to take Donald Trump,” Hinojosa told Hemmer, who asked for an update on whether the convention will take place. “So our convention is happening. There is business that has to happen.”

The DNC had rescheduled its July convention to August because of the coronavirus outbreak. This week, the Rules and Bylaws Committee agreed to give organizers in Milwaukee the permission to design an event that won’t require delegates to attend in person.

Biden has been presumed to be the party's nominee since Bernie Sanders dropped out of the race.

Former Vice President Joe Biden is on a list of names provided to Senate Republicans by a sympathetic spy boss in connection with the case of former national security adviser Michael Flynn.

That was the latest twist in a years-long saga that changed course again this week following action by acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell, who declassified the names of a number of people who requested intelligence information in the final days of the Obama administration.

A number of former officials, including Biden, are on the list and are described as having potentially received intelligence reporting connected to Flynn. A message from the National Security Agency included with Grenell's note to the Republicans says it isn't clear who may actually have viewed it.

In this case Biden asked to see one document. Monitoring of a Known Russian intelligence player recorded discussions with Flynn reported as undermining official US policy. No surprise that the government wanted to know what happened.

No Surprise that the Trump team have asked for a lot more people to be identified in this same manner - a lot more. As is known this information was relayed to Trump by Obama.

Absolutely nothing wrong happened if you exclude the actions of Flynn who was undermining official US policy with a foreign power.

So you don't want the recording released I take it ?

The only finding By Muller was that their was insufficient evidence to prove Collusion. There was a mountain of evidence connecting multiple members of the Trump team to Russia a long list of known meetings between Russia and Trump team members requests from trump to the Russians and a long long list of what must have been coincidences. The finding on Obstruction was much different as Muller could not proclaim Trump as clear, instead he laid out about 10 separate detailed cases of obstruction and the evidence but could not act because of the Presidents protection from prosecution.

The options were for the House to impeach or prosecution after Trump leaves office.

The Russiand helped Trump in the 2016 election - that is a fact like it or not.
