Oh....and Bobby.....if you really want to talk about 'gutless,' I say the most gutless is the snake oil salesman who is well aware of this MRB yet he is too afraid to show up here so we can have a piece of him.

Lee, I readily agree that I am well out of my depth on this stuff.....but it is quite noticeable to me that you have not (that I have seen) made even one snipe at the snake oil salesman's YouTube propaganda which he churns out for commercial gain.

Why is that?

Some of these dupes of the SOS make me laugh. Saw one character on Twitter “The Mexican Gulf is 3°C warmer than usual, is there a volcano or a vent under it?”

Clowns, sucked in so deep by a snake oil saleman they can’t even see the facts in front of their eyes. Atlantic where the Gulf Stream flows was 9°C hotter than normal, must be a lot of new volcanoes there? Volcanoes, cheap get-out by totally brainwashed idiots.

Is that why you proclaimed there were none under the Arctic? to prove it wrong? Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Long enough for you to have known they were there. Which raises an interesting question? Why did you not know? Wink

So they were there when the Arctic was full of thick ice?

The volcanoes under parts of the Antarctic ice sheets, how long have they been there? I would say they were there when the Antarctic was thicker and greater in extent then now.

So the volcanoes are irrelevant to any discussion of retreat of polar ice.

Perhaps. The heat from the volcanoes has to overcome the ice before it can melt higher. Have you done any studies that show that it has always been so?

If you get increased ice over time doesn't that dampen the heating effect? And seeing as the ice was probably low when they sailed the Arctic in 1878, it has probably been increasing from then.

Or are you certain that the volcanoes caused immediate melt throughout the ice column?

Which of course is much different than saying there were no volcanoes under the Arctic.

So now you are babbling again. The Arctic, the Himalayan Ice Sheet, the West Antarctic Ice Sheet and the East Antarctic ice sheets are all destablising and the glaciers thinning and retreating and you babble of volcanoes.

And Booby is a deluded coward who wasn’t game to confront my question.

That's exactly right. The volcanoes have been there for millions of years, they haven't had a sudden burst of activity over the past century so they can be ignored as a cause of the ice melt.

lee is just being his usual deceptive and disingenuous self. He knows that it is nothing to do with volcanoes but it is a useful argument to distract and confuse.

To “distract and confuse” himself mostly. Obviously shitscared by AGW but rather than do anything he denies it to himself.

Dubyne says we will have a GSM (why?) and that will usher in a minor ice age. A GSM will cause 0.3°C cooling compared to 1.2°C global warming since 1850. So—Dubyne is selling snake oil and I think must be making good dough from donations and advertising revenue. I think he has at least a share of “Survival Food” the way he is always lying about crop failures, including last year’s Australian wheat crop.

But Dubyne shot himself in the foot saying Arctic temperatures “were recovering.” Recovering from what? The Arctic is just emerging from winter and, according to liar Dubyne, there had been no heating in the Arctic over winter.

So the Arctic is recovering from what?

Obviously, the snake oil seller knows the Arctic did warm in the winter and forgot he told his dupes it hadn’t.

So who is the babbler who brought up volcanoes or lack of them in the first place? Wink

Ooh. The glaciers are thinning and retreating, in some places, and it has NEVER happened before? Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin
