I read another article today on this topic and then decided to check out if there was any indiction as to why Murdering Creek Road, (Noosa) got its name.  I've driven passed it many times, down it a few, and the name always had me intrigued.  I also wondered why the Council never changed it.

Sure enough, another massacre by whitey on aboriginals.
