In a time of universal deceit — telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

No evidence whatsoever it can be attributed to George Orwell or Eric Arthur Blair (in fact the same guy)

Cool isn't it...  shades of Judge Dredd...

I note they have just fitted a new very very large gun on one of their naval vessels which also uses new technology.

Mind you we did have Metalstorm first...  where the hell did that disappear to.

Would you give a Chinese person recognition for a facial?

I assume most countries use this at some level.
Given China's population it would be pretty easy for a criminal to hide out in the open.

I assume with hi-res cameras and facial profiling they could tell identical twins apart. In China they would need a massive database.

Recently, a Super Bowl was played (and won by Philadelphia -- correct me if I am wrong). One of the features of the Super Bowl is the surveillance they use in the stadiums. Not only are they looking for fans for highlight reels, they are also on the look out for known offenders. Employed at the entrance gates, and even in the stadium seating itself is the use of facial recognition to find certain individuals.

I don't know if they use this in Australian stadiums, but it would be a good idea to employ.
