Is this Anunga group like a social club that is open to anyone, or is it only open to people of Aboriginal descent?

Why is it relevant? You cannot (or will not) answer that.

Well yes, but FD's not racist or anything. These people are Boongs for heaven's sake. They have the hyde to try to stop FD from climbing his birthright as a decent white person. In God's name, this is Crown Land. Who cares if they gave it back to these hideous little Boongs? What have they ever done to deserve it?

50,000 years, invented a stick.

Because if it is only open to people whose parents belong to the correct racial grouping, then it is racist, by definition. It is relevant because it demonstrates that you are simply incapable of seeing racism for what it is when it is wrapped in the woolly fuzz of political correctness.

Is Clive Palmer's trust open to people of non-white descent, or is anyone free to own it?

Please don't stop FD walking in your mines, Clive. Deny FD's Freeedom and you will lose yours - in so many sacred and unknowable ways.

Race is irrelevant.

The only racism here is your own in questioning why a group of people owe some kind of lip service to what they do with their own land because they happen to be Aboriginal.

But i doubt very much that i will fascilitate your understanding of this. If you haven't got it by now (and unless you're logically challenged, you probably have) you're not going to get it.

Start a Republic.
Shoot any Aboriginal, British, American and other 'Anti-Republicans' that deem empowerment over the Republic and its people (regardless of Race).
The Republican 'culture' to rule by majority and domination.
All minorities shall bow down and know their place.
The Republican 'culture' to dominate the Region of Sahul.

...as if!  Grin
Aussies are too lazy to give a rats.  Cheesy

So if the government handed control over some other iconic, valuable national park to a non-Aboriginal group that was defined along equally racist lines, you would insist it is not racism, just 'business as usual'? Does it cease being racism when it is formalised, institutionalised racism Mothra? Perhaps you think it is only racism when people hurl insults?

Do you understand now why whether it is racist is relevant to whether it is racist?

You are simply incapable of seeing racism for what it is when it is wrapped in the woolly fuzz of political correctness.

How to be an Australian

Have a Brit pin you down on one side because you're a bad 'Criminal'.
Have a Yank pin you down on the other side because you're a bad 'Racist'.
Have an Aboriginal come in and belt you between them for being a bad 'Invader'.

Tongue

Best way to dispose of your point Effendi is...yes it is racism, just as racist as the High Court in Mabo was.

Let's hear no more of your 'racist whistling.'  This place was not terra nullius.

did it hand it to them because they were aboriginal, or because it decided they were the traditional owners?

I think to FD, being Aboriginal trumps everything.

Thanks for being honest Aussie.

When are we going to stop being racist?

It was done for political reasons, based on racism. It is a bustling tourist centre. Non-aboriginal people had considered it a special place and travelled there in large numbers for years beforehand.
