Wanted: Weetbix & Corn Flakes eaters

I had an argument with someone lately about quality. Well not an argument, no blows were exchanged.

She said she couldn't eat Aldi's home brands, they were just horrible. I said they taste fine and are probably made by the same manufacturers.

But it's many many years since I ate Sanatorium Weetbix or Kellogg's Corn Flakes, so how can I really judge. All I know is the Aldi products taste fine to me.

So I want the unbiased opinion of consumers, ideally anybody who uses both from time to time.
Am I eating crap and just don't know it? Or are they much of a muchness?
What I do know is the price difference.

Weetbix here, but never had anything other than the original.

(I used to eat 24 of them every week day as as kid/teenager.)

Having worked various 'Food Industry' jobs.

I can honestly tell you that it is all the same 'product' but with just different labels and slight additives or less. But in essence, they all come from the same processing plant.

The once Inghams Chickens would send the 'same' chickens out as different brands. Inghams is now Aviagen (USA) and they are still the same chickens  Wink (Formaldahyded x5 fumigations!  Tongue )

The same goes with Rice, Cereals, Meats, etc, etc.

Australia has always had a Food Labelling problem and this is just another 'type' of Food Labelling problem.  Lips Sealed
