I have only used AGW.

The sun oscillates over decades between more and less active states. The warming we have seen since the 1970s occurred when the sun was in a less active state. The warming is not due to the sun [being more active.]

What will happen in a couple decades when the sun gets more active?

Is the above language simple enough for you to understand, roach, or do I need to use smaller words and even simpler concepts?

typical crap....  don't address the issue.

Just as with Ajax and with science you simply dismiss (everything you don't understand or cant refute or doesn't fit in with your zealotry) you dismiss it...out of hand.

No debate, no engagement, no factual refutation just ignorance and outright running away.  Then you repost some shyte we have already been over. Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Ajax does not present science, just denialist crap.

So 60 peer-reviewed papers is not science, just crap?

Monk the stuff alarmists like you call denialist crap is science too you know...  and as the History of AGW will attest there is no concensus and scientists are still learning and debating the issue.

Unlike zealots of the true believer church like yourself.

60 or 600 denialist crap does not prove a case.

1.2°C rise in temperatures shows temperatures have increased. Measurements of IR shows the greenhouse effect is real. THAT is the science.

Now quantify the AGW component.

So why are increasing temperatures linear? Wink

You quoted it, Don't you read what you quote?

Jovial Monk wrote on Aug 26th, 2017 at 12:51am:
The researchers thus arrive at the conclusion that the increase in global temperatures since the 1970s cannot be explained by the sun. The observed temperature trend over the past three decades is linear

Yes. A rather confused paper.

"It is another fact that the carbon dioxide concentration has increased by 30 percent since industrialization began in the mid-18th century."

So 280ppm plus 30% = 364ppm That was about 1997-98.

So who knows what time period he includes in his last three decades?

"The researchers thus arrive at the conclusion that the increase in global temperatures since the 1970s cannot be explained by the sun. The observed temperature trend over the past three decades is linear –"

Another fun fact - "Temperatures during the period spanning 2001 to 2010, for example, were around 0.2 degrees Celsius higher than the previous decade."

And yet changing Stevenson Screens for an increased 0.54ºC annually is statistically insignificant. Wink

The paper you cited mentioned the insignificance.

yes. So if 0.54ºC annually is insignificant, how about 0.2ºC over a decade? Wink

Way to go misrepresenting what was said in your own quote.
