Nuclear is not a quick fix nor an easy one. I just think it is essential.

Sure, the big populations of the world can't decarbonise without them in the immediate future: but the safety of the world means this technology can't go everywhere.

The yanks have told us not to get involved in it for this exact reason: remember, we rely on them for self defence and there is hundreds of millions of muslims a few hundred kilometres off our coastlines.
