Previously discarded Admins who do not even contest an election have The Boss buttons, and the elected Admin is a hollow show piece emperor without clothes.

Well to be fair to IQ he only lost by one vote.
I would think that meant roughly half the members,including mantra I might add,wanted him in some leadership capacity.Black Orchid has chosen to put him into that position and kudos to her for that.

Incorrect. The Admin/Exhalted Leader is elected by the Members. The Winner of the position chooses the Mods. We do NOT vote for the Mods. Roll Eyes

PA has a squillion Mods...almost every Member is a Mod., even Nappy I suspect. Skippy, AiA and SN still have full access to ALL Admin 'Big Kahuna' buttons...yet they were discarded/did not contest for the position in the past.
