Yup I make no apologies for wanting her out of the ABC. It wasn't just a mistake, it was her toxic religion bubbling to the surface. As an Ex ABC employee I have skin in the game. I love the ABC and she doesn't belong there.

I think there are a few people who love ozpol and would like to see one or two gone from here....

but in this world it takes all kinds...and to show fear of this young women is beyond daft to me. Angry

Professional politicians, or wannabes, don't have real-life experience. They see only what they want to. They have a narrow focus. They are the poorer for it, as are we all.

I didn't hear the opinion expressed by Yassmin.. only the fallout. When I first heard about it I thought..... a brave person who sought to show us that Australia NOW, is not the Australia THEN. If a white person had said it, would you feel as outraged?

Gallipoli...a tragedy in human terms in every respect.

The same can be said for Australia's treatment of PEOPLE in the detention camps.

Different yes.. but worthy of denouncement.

Sure code she does have a right to her opinion, nobody is denying that. However her views are completely against the ways of this country, and it's not like she has just made one mistake or slip-up, she has form:

1. Slams and mocks ANZAC Day, a very sacred day to Australians and New Zealanders as we remember the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for our freedom.

2. Then says that it was brought to her attention that it was offensive. How did she not realise in the first place?

3. Says that Sharia Law can be simply praying 5 times a day. Complete and utter BS. Sharia Law says that Muslims do not have to obey a foreign law and that men are allowed to beat their disobedient wives, among other things.

4. Says that Islam is the most feminist religion. This despite the fact that women in pretty much every Christian country have complete freedom and liberty. In countries like Saudi Arabia women cannot drive, cannot vote, cannot even go out without a man to 'look after them' and are forced to cover their entire body.

As far as I am concerned it's good riddance to bad rubbish.
